The darkness of nights are made safe and warm being by your side
The cold days of winter are warmed by your embrace
The clouds of rainy days suddenly open
The lighting of distant storms are made silent
The sun glistens off the ocean blue
The waves announce there presence crashing on the shore
The wind swept mountains stand tall and proud
The tree branches in the valley sway to the breeze
In the darkness of the night, the stars fall across the sky
The moon, with its bluish rays, lights the earth below
Beginning the dawn of a new day, the sun breaks the horizon
All of this happens because you said these words
All of this happens because you said these words from your heart
All of this happens because you make me so happy
All of this happens every time you say these words, I Love You
Scalding winds, cold as ice,
burn away frozen layers.
Drawing raw, unbidden scars,
upon the rugged spires.

Dried in the sun
Valleys of death
Filled with hopelessness
No shelter to be found
Sun dried bones
Yearning for lifes' one savory drop
Yet life is here
Abundant to be found
Oceans held deep
Inside a thorny tree
Alas no lifes' cool drop
No even one for me
