I rambled once, riding my bicycle
on a foggy day of winter.
The fog remained suspended long in the atmosphere -
so impatient I to go out,
for such a weather decades not seen.
Going farther and farther,
excited seeing the veiled country
on a lonesome village road not seen before,
the fogs dissipated; evening sun appeared
giving a pleasant apricity .
The countryside was calm, and gentle -
sprawling paddy fields, brown with stubble,
on both sides of the quiet, and peaceful road.
To the east, they stretched to the foot of the distant Blue Hill;
a grove of trees in the middle,
mist resting still at its foot,
while a few clouds seen floating above the brae,
top and above the idyllic blue hill.
There, a moment, I longed to sit
by the paddy field under the tree,
branches wide spreading
with a maiden of my imagination long ago.

When it comes Springtime lambing on the farm
The bleating sheep send out distress alarm
For the black ravens and carrion crow
Locate their prey and glide in on the flow
Ebony ravens with diamond shaped tails
Are now in flight over West Riding dales
Seeing as their wide spreading wings unfolds
their acrobatic chases, dives and rolls
In mating rituals that they display
Ever watchful in likely passing prey
From Arctic to Mediterranean
Ravens favour suitable carrion
In coastal regions they perch to survey
the nests for speckled eggs the seagulls lay
Highly intelligent amongst their peers
Approximate life span of thirteen years
Lava expelling out of a volcano is extremely dangerous and is known as an eruption,
but the wrong motive of money making is much more feared and is coined as corruption.
Many illegal path followers have forgotten the basic ideals of a human life,
due to which common people feel like their necks being attacked with a knife.
There is now a very wide gap between the vicious money makers,
and many of the innocent who are genuine and loyal hard workers.
Although corruption is the main reason behind a country earning a bad fame,
many ruthless culprits are indulging in many major scams and repeating the same.
Now a days,corruption is treated as a wide-spreading disease with no medicine,
but if strict measures are employed and followed,drastic economic growth may be seen.
People from all walks of life are literally addicted to this tool of greediness,
and in order to tackle this,it is high time for all of us to show our readiness.
Corruption is undoubtedly the most challenging task for our government,
but it is our prime duty to do our bit with a very strong commitment.
