white corals around
landscapes sparkle in pure white ---
adder snakes creep on creepers

white furs and sponges
ornament the environs ---
white fox innocently blinks

Premium Member Snow Queen and the White Fox

She sat among the ice crystals stroking the white fox’s fur.
He was completely still, quiet. He seemed to like her touch.
We were afraid to get closer, we did not want to spook him.
They are marvelous, someone said. The snow queen.

I was thinking this also. They were crisp and clean like new snow.
There was a peacefulness here we rarely see anywhere else.
Alaska is the ultimate place to see marvelous wild life someone said.
I did not know if they meant the white fox or the snow queen.
Mayhaps both.

Premium Member Breathing In Spring

flash of a white fox tail
tiny itsy bitsy red lady bug
yellow dots barely showing

walnuts, acorns, mushrooms
the fey must be cheering
the woods bring a natural silence

opens to a meadow of wild flowers
queen anne’s lace in delicate white
purple asters with yellow centers

cattails next to the pond
straight as soldiers
splash of a frog

deep hoarse cough in the brush
flash of a deer’s black tail
my breathing changes

nature is my healing place
I sit in the grass
feeling the faeries watching

oooh a hoot owl
in the day time?
could anything be better?
