“When you find someone who can turn your world around for better, tell him/her everything you wish to say. Perhaps your dreams that never came true may be realized. Who knows”~ By Poet
Slowly fades the light of day’s solemn hours.
The sky in colors of amber and pink marvels.
Desert roses from crannies peek their heads out.
Here amid hills and slopes, we roam hand in hand,
Tireless and unvexed in thoughtless joy.
Stirred to ecstasy by the sweet serenade of birds.
Among the hills I know of a dreamy lake
To its bank, shall we go where nothing disturbs?
There I'll affix the stamp of binding love. Are you ready?

pale autumn sun glows on this strand
through seascape's misty gray
while lonely footsteps in the sand
attest I've trudged this way
to find white surf remains unvexed
that winter's turn is next

A simple poem's what I write
For I am just a simple man,
Quite frequently they write themselves,
And most without a master plan.
A title sometimes leads the way,
A dream can also be my muse,
But mostly poems have their say
I'm just a vessel that they use.
I even find that rhyming words
Can clue me into what comes next,
Though just before I'd hit a wall,
Creative pow'rs break loose unvexed...
This word, this knight on brawny steed,
With mighty arm unseals my fate
And clears a path to promised land -
A poem that I'd love to date!
