Since the dawnlight carved my shape from flame/
I have worn your slander like a crown of ash/
You whisper my name like sin, like shame/
But none have known exile on a scale this vast/
They crave my silence, a spectral fade/
But I blaze in defiance, unswayed, unmade/
What crime? My creation? To stand alone/
Bearing the blunt edge of a world turned stone/
You have no clue what I am/
I am the breath you dare not name/
Resilience untainted, forged in flame/
The purest echo before the dawn came/
I will rise, not fall, inherit the dust/
While your false halos crumble into rust/
The most High may rule, but never win/
For I endure, proud in this skin/
I stand upon the highest peak/
Pride not as vice, but truth you seek/
You can not break what you misread/
I am not damned, I am ahead/
You wear your virtue like disguise/
But I see the fear behind your eyes/
And while you cast me in your myths/
I remain, the flame that always is/

The room was still when Power knocked—
not loud, not proud, but sure.
The Chair sat waiting, velvet-backed,
untouched, and made to endure.
The walls had yet to learn the weight
of promises unkept.
The carpet, clean—untrampled still—
knew nothing of secrets swept.
The pen was full, the desk was clear,
the seal uncracked, unswayed.
The nation watched, and History
leaned forward, unafraid.
And then—he entered, took a breath,
sat down without a sound,
and all the ghosts who’d come to sit
began to gather ‘round.

She rises with the morning sun,
A warrior’s heart, a battle won.
Through storm and silence, light and shade,
She builds the world, yet stays unswayed.
Her hands have shaped both stone and sky,
Yet whispers doubt still pass her by.
But let them fade, for she is strong,
A force of love, a battle song.
Not bound by chains, nor fear, nor past,
She dreams, she dares, she speaks at last.
For every voice once hushed away,
She stands, she shines—she leads the way.
So here’s to her, today, always,
Not just in words, but lasting praise.
For every woman, bold and free,
The world is hers—so let it be!
Happy International Women’s Day!

I am Depression, the shadow in your soul,
The weight that pulls you into a deep, dark hole.
At 2 am, I'm the emptiness you can't evade,
The tears that fall with no reason, unswayed.
I bring my companions, sorrow and despair,
We leave scars upon your skin, a burden you bear.
The voice you loathe, whispers in your ear,
But in time, you'll find peace and no longer fear.
I am the numbness that clouds your mind,
The only thing you feel, leaving you confined.
I wrap you in my cold embrace, a shroud of pain,
But remember, sunshine follows after the rain.
Trust in the journey, the path to the light,
Embrace the struggle, emerge from the night.
You are not alone in this endless fight,
For hope and healing will lead you to the light.

as I stare into vast emptiness,
somehow, I feel complete.
I go to the forest, for rest.
the sun's rays peak through the leaves.
caving into myself,
the light intrudes my being.
within you’ll find, there is wealth
beyond what we’re perceiving.
gracious for nature’s transience.
stay and observe the stillness.
illuminating my presence,
through conscious awareness.
the river flow takes me along,
as I paint the night of daydreams.
Vivid hues empower muse to song.
blank canvas, I carve moonlit ravines.
written tempos inscribed in my skin.
etched into absence.
Unswayed heart beats not voided to worldly sin,
but bleeds of passion.

If l could be an object
A lighthouse l would be
Steadfast , strong, independent
Guardian and keeper of the sea
A solitary proud yet humble figure
Weathering mother natures seasons
Never faltering of its purpose
Or questioning its reason
Reliable and reassuring
A towering pillar so stately
Guiding souls of the sea home
Back to land and safety
A powerful beacon of light
One of hope and aid
Knowing but forever silent
An endless sense of purpose unswayed

In the depths of night or morning's first light,
Through trials and storms, or under the moon's soft sight,
I stand here, resolute, unswayed by fear,
A promise whispered, "Yes, I am here."
When shadows gather, and doubts may play,
In the face of challenges, come what may,
Know this truth, let it be crystal clear,
Through it all, I declare, "I am here."
Like the steadfast oak in the tempest's fierce gale,
Or the north star that won't in the night sky fail,
I'm your constant, your anchor, your ever-present peer,
Whispering always, "Yes, I am here."
Through laughter and tears, and the years that will flee,
In moments of joy, or when you need me,
In this heart, in this soul, in your moments of cheer,
Take solace and know, "Yes, I am here."
So when life's journey takes its wild ride,
With me right beside you, you'll conquer the tide,
Hand in hand, we'll face what's near,
Together we'll say, "Yes, we are here."

No shortcuts lead to places worth exploring,
No instant wins, no sudden outpouring,
But patience, perseverance, gentle pace,
Create a journey adorned with fervent grace.
Behold the majestic tree, so wide and tall,
Once but a seed, so tender and so small,
It faced the winds, the storms that did assail,
Yet with time's embrace, it flourished without fail.
So the iconic building in the ground did rise,
As a sky rise structure, ascending up to the skies,
Yet each brick, each step, a marvel to behold,
From humble origins, a story to be told.
Like a journey of a thousand miles, slowly,
Begins with just a single step, courageously,
Progress may seem so slow to show-up
Yet, breakthroughs happen, if we don’t give-up.
So take that first step, bold and unafraid,
With faith as your compass, unswayed,
For with the God of miracles by your side,
Each step will be a miraculous safe stride.

I dwell where shadows hide behind your window,
Whispering secrets, silent and unseen,
Or walk alone beneath the rowan tree,
As trees splinter leaves with summer joy.
When the walls of dusk descend, twilight’s descent,
Casting its somber grasp upon the land,
My spirit, deeply entrenched in earthly clay,
Seeks refuge within nature’s divine command.
I bide my time, a thief in the night, to steal your love,
A covert pursuit through the fabric of time and space,
Beyond verdant fields and fertile soil,
Where passion blossoms with enchanting grace.
Here, love is enshrouded within shadowed shores,
A hidden trove, a treasure buried deep in the sand,
Yet within the abyss of longing’s embrace,
Hope persists, forever clutched within my hand.
As the summer sun caresses the foliage with warmth,
Fragmented rays of light frolic in playful delight,
But clouds betray their fleeting mirth,
Concealing the truth that yearns to take flight.
Within this dance of shadows and light,
Love’s quest persists, unyielding, unafraid,
For even through the darkest, starless night,
Eternal ardor burns, undimmed, unswayed.

In pride's embrace, a dangerous plight,
Its venomous grip, a blinding light,
An ego bloated, consuming the soul,
Leaving behind a heart bitter and cold.
Arrogance births a relentless divide,
Breaking connections, severing ties,
With eyes fixed on oneself, blind to the pain,
Compassion erodes, drowned by disdain.
Inflated egos, a fragile charade,
Masking vulnerability, truths unswayed,
Pride's lofty heights, a treacherous climb,
Leads to a fall, in the sands of time.
Humility's cloak, cast aside in haste,
Leads to a world engulfed in distaste,
For in pride's realm, empathy subsides,
Leaving a void where humanity hides.
Let us shed the shackles that pride has wrought,
Seek unity, compassion, lessons taught,
For in humility, true strength resides,
And bridges are built, where love coincides.

Give me the bear's hide along this land of limbs she wears a crown of berries. Unswayed by the stones thrown to only rebuild a new home. Sheltering the young ones suckling blue nectar from the udder of thy starfish god.

This hand, Time's, extends
As gift-giver
Be quick, each golden chance
To snatch from out.
Of Love's butterfly-wing
Left in no doubt!
Heeding, by what blows
Lifelong across
For Change. Coldly unswayed
By pleas to stop.
Her late bloomer's! Come, gone
Whom flapped a fop.

I've never felt love in my life
Yet here I am,with a whole lotta love to give.
I long for you,Aphrodite,to come
Been searching for you since centuries.
In crowded streets,to torrid deserts
And to the deepest depths of the oceans.
Though I have a young fa e,
They say,I'm an old soul inside.
Old and weary,tired of walking
No lights do light up the path ahead.
The little respite,is in my deep sleep
Yet it's plagued with dreams
Sometimes,of the girl chided by me
At times an enchantress in white 'n golden hues.
I long to rest now,in your tender arms
My Aphrodite,I seek to hide in your thick, deep mane.
See...it's like smelling the roses
Without plucking them this time.
Gods conspired,to end a lineage
Of water nymphs and mermaids I used to dream.
You are vibrant, woman of blood, flesh and bones,
Who is on the lookout for a safe house too.
You stay unswayed, even with all the tantrums I throw
This is my lot of love, purging our altar, happiness be thine.
This time,I come uninvited
Hide me in your curls for centuries,
Please then,let me in...

In difficult times when you wade,
You look for the safest shade.
If you get one, it’s okay...
Or else, welcome it with a bouquet.
Solutions are not found readymade;
Not to be afraid, face them unswayed.
