I am depression
I am Depression, the shadow in your soul,
The weight that pulls you into a deep, dark hole.
At 2 am, I'm the emptiness you can't evade,
The tears that fall with no reason, unswayed.
I bring my companions, sorrow and despair,
We leave scars upon your skin, a burden you bear.
The voice you loathe, whispers in your ear,
But in time, you'll find peace and no longer fear.
I am the numbness that clouds your mind,
The only thing you feel, leaving you confined.
I wrap you in my cold embrace, a shroud of pain,
But remember, sunshine follows after the rain.
Trust in the journey, the path to the light,
Embrace the struggle, emerge from the night.
You are not alone in this endless fight,
For hope and healing will lead you to the light.
