“Your body is yours;
it is not for someone to abuse and leave you in fear.”
Quote by poet
A look of confusion and helplessness
Frenetic worry filled with fearfulness.
Terrifying mute screams echo impart,
Tears unbidden, wraith being ripped apart.
Disconcerting, hoarsely pleading to stop,
But unrestrained fleshly lust, pleas unstop.
In the dark; once again, cold patches drew
Fear of emotion penetrated through.
Clench fist and crippling affliction raged airs
Nauseate image brought vivid nightmare.

Lamp posts eyes
through cracks
of curtains
spying
sewing needles
through mine
uninvited
screeching tires
honking horns
sirens
plucking mind’s guitar
unstop.
Take me to the Sonoran
steal into a hut
while its inhabitant
hunts
fall asleep in its belly
hidden
from rattling reptiles
hunting grasshoppers
coyotes
the howling hunter mouse
monsters, giants
the Gila, the Iguana
scorpions!
Take me to the Sonoran
illumed by the Saguaro
opening its white petals
at night
a lamp post of
candelabra flowers
where lizards
on waking
take sunbeams
showers
savoring magic
of orange red
golden yellow flowers
winking at sunset
and vanishing.
Honk, honk! Screech!
Splash!
Spilled my glass
of chamomile
slumbering on the sandy
waterless beach
of the Sonoran.

Oh to wear the crown
Asking God to fight
Death and fate strangled
at my arms end
Ripping angels with my teeth
Race to unseat beast
Fold reality until it disappeared
Squirting words
upon the page
in my raUNSETTLEDge
Depressed into my form
Squint in increments
scream reams of ams to scare
splatter matter like it mattered
unstop and able
causing rain with dribble
clench my fist and grin
as the empty i step in

Unstop the drain
kiss the pain
let nature run its course
Trip the wire
start the fire
new vision at its source
Time unstrung
past on the run
tomorrow lies to all
Hearts open wide
the moment flies
—past memory to recall

Sunny Side Up
Don’t despair
The rain’ll clear
The storm’ll
Change it’s coarse
Sunny days
Are on the way
So unstop
All the corks
Drink up life
With all your might
And don’t look
Back at you
You’ll never know
When you must go
So do all
You can do

This earth here where we live
has rejected God in all he's conveyed
having sent many preachers and prophets
with His truth for this so many prayed
God's truth been published in the west
through many means and many days
the gospel story has been sent abroad
to rescue man from his sinful ways
Jesus words crying over Jerusalem
is so very apt to this even our time
I wish you would come but you wouldn't
the clock is ticking but only to last chime
If this world would unstop their ears
for a moment and just stand still
listen to what the Lord is saying
receive His love give up their will
So O earth waken yourself up
pay attention to word of the Lord
believe it and trustingly obey
hold onto God's double edge sword
(O earth, earth earth hear the word of the Lord.' Jeremiah 22: 29 )

Love always requires a sacrifice
often unpaid by weary hearts.
Flickering sparks don’t change the world.
Instead, love is an unquenchable fire
that destroys not sorrow
but rather selfishness.
It is not for the romanticism of death,
but for the hardships of life.
Love is not lost through change
but people unable to endure
the pain it brings.
It is not gained by bribery of the heart,
but by choice of the soul.
Love is not satisfaction of desire,
but setting yourself free to live.
Hold your tongue and unstop your ears.
Shut your eyes and open your arms.
It’s not too late.
