They said
the sun would be sweltering today
humid air, thick and oppressive yellow red
if you can, stay in the shade,
don't play;
put on sunscreen or you'll burn
sit in the shadow fringes beneath a tree, tall and climbing,
safe, secure, protected seemingly innocuous in every turn
ignoring the guidance, sunscreen idling,
after all, I was in hiding;
between twelve and three I slept
lounging in the tinge cast upon my silhouetted image
the sun rays fell with scorching warm neglect
and as I rose, dark pink exposed my grimace;
an ache, a pain, an unsoothed sunburn
covered half my uncovered body pained in waking,
when will I ever learn
this lazy day endeavor now aching, sizzling as if burning bacon.

FALL UNTO
A smile in a mirror
Cracked!
Swallowed in shadow.
Haunted by violent secrets and fears
Fact forms from our fictions
Hollowly grow gray
Heal broken back
Silent grievance unsoothed tears
A turmoil fault – a symptom in form of an addiction
Temptation fought day after day
Turning from red to pink, orange to yellow
Blue to green And violet to purple
Like a sunrise
An exercise of an entire spectrum
Barely seen
It took nearly ten years
This poem now complete.
It denies defeat, and claims no victim.
Ending a promising career.

To let you go,hurts bad
Alone at a loss, I let you come back
Sadly regret letting you stay
Time after time it turns out the same
Trying to figure out why Im still here
Im burnt to the ground cold no fear
Starting over I forget how
Doubtful and insecure of every move
My mood and conscious stay unsoothed
Sleep the only blessed event
Wish for dead please get him out of my head
Even though its for the best
Seems to remain a constant test
Alone versus treated bad
Changes in a second. wish I was glad

The dusty hurling wind guided the darker cloud
Towards the stony shrine of a lonesome mountain.
With a roaring thunder, mountain cried out loud
And tears flooded its bosom in disguise of rain.
The bosom which is full of painful dry volcano
That sighed and waited for coming out in rage.
Instead with its teary rain tuned a pale piano
To sing a melacholic note of torn lyrical page.
Mountain, with toughness, cries with soft heart
Thorough deep smoky sighs, thunders and rains.
No one seeks its rocky heart, internally burnt
Or empathizes with its unsoothed thorny pains.
