you speak of light and lilacs
unfurling in lines
only the hail and storms
within my soul dare to write ~
a nightingale nightmare,
dream walking into
the beloved palms of prose…
but if I were your flower of flame,
a mysterious fragrance
wandering your field,
must I bloom to the velvet wind
ruffling above your sea of sonnets,
whilst your words burn warmer
than the sun’s rays
spilling over lavender and lilies ~
one lone rose ~
loosening its ivory into ebony bloom…
and tonight
I ache to trust the soft sparks
traveling through blushing bliss ~
the slow motions of a new romance,
beyond time and moon-tears,
where love has no name,
life unlearns its fickle games,
heart homes no hate nor shame,
no longer victims
of the forgotten and the forsaken…
Between yes and no, the world holds its breath.
Light forgets it is light; shadow stops rehearsing fear.
North loosens its grip on certainty, south unlearns surrender.
In this pause, opposites don’t fight—they listen.
Truth steps out of argument and sits in silence.
Energy stops changing sides and remembers its source.
The clock hesitates, unsure whom time should favor.
Power dissolves, not lost—just neutralized.
Here, meaning is born before labels arrive.
The pause is not weakness; it is alignment before rebirth.
dried memory lost...river forgets to flow in desert...waits for rains
longing turns debris...heart unlearns how to conjure...architect time bides
