ADAABA (INCULPATION)
submerged in marshy waters
she mused furiously
rotating the blades
while massaging the hilt
silently hopeful
as the timing is crucial
marching to deluge
the seemingly matching threat
alluring destiny to the test
the stage has been set
striding unhonoured
strapping humor
fastened in an uncommon bed
blended to the lurking danger
abiding within nooks and corners
of her one time haven
now a thicken den
laced with scheming leeches
sucking all hopes away
now she stares in awe
trying to drown
this resurging moments
of hopeless days
lying next to wasted nights.

Expectations unhonoured hit hard
They hurt where they should
Promises unkept fling blows
They strike where they aim
Words unpleasant slash harsh
They rip through wherever they could.
My mind catches fire of the wild
Blazes the tender endurance
Uncontrolled, it boils the blue blood
Unquenched, it scorches the sound sense
Untamed, it burns the relationship chords
All these dwindle turning into despicable debris.
The flame flows from the burning eyes
Singes the green meadow empathy makes
The heart morphs into a volcanic inferno
Erupting fuming lava called anger.
Through the billowing smoke thick and blinding
I come out of the ruins, see the beauty the life is
Before my ember conscience burns the soul
I rise from the ashes, self reformed and sane.
