Stepping back remote from urban rhythm
Dizzy I take flight asking only to surrender
Wishing to drown in a long lost forgotten calm
Reminiscing of that distant youthful idyllic calm
When day and night danced in divine rhythm
To soft nostalgic memories I ungrudgingly surrender
Disentangle me I give my all and do surrender
Desperate to retrieve a soothing blissful calm
To reunite with mother nature’s nurtured rhythm
Synchronize with life’s rhythm I surrender my heart to calm

Amidst forests and rocks, the river flows like super jet
Livelihood for the organisms yearning for its advent
Adept at adapting shape, just to benefit others
Ungrudgingly accumulates minerals,silt and ores
Even after discerning our attempt to befoul it

The old guy is rugged, determined, fearless
He has fond memories of the game he still worships
He still hears the roars of the crowd
Can even now taste the fresh turf on his lips
He visualizes the impressive stadium
Feels the rough pigskin in his hands
Hears the wind howl against his helmet
Ohh...the hopes…the dreams…the plans
Ungrudgingly, he follows the young rookies
Able to relive his very first season
Recounting his first play…first score…first victory
There is nothing more left to reason
Throughout life, he perseveres
Thinking about the fame…the glory
The wins…the opulent lifestyle
His story
He most dotingly looks back
Proudly certain his watch he would not rewind
He earnestly recalls the true game
The same game that left him blind
