Uncomplex Poems | Examples

Premium MemberMy Man

he is easy to love
for he will do anything for me
I am not half as good to him
as I want to be
he goes out of his way
to make me feel special and loved
my love was sent to me
by the angels above

he’s been after me since we were five
and we are seventy years young now
this is the kind of love to have
I recommend it, for it is a wow.

Here is the trick
You have to be great friends first
Do not fall in love with every troll
For you’ll find yourself unhappy and much worse

Find the one who puts you up
Who says great things, who will do or die
The one who makes you laugh
Not the one who makes you cry

Look for friendship first
kindness, generosity and truthfulness next
bad boys who hurt your heart
are not worth your time, so uncomplex.

Prayer

My life is filled with forever tomorrows.
I fight against crippling fears and sorrows.
Out of the darkness, I pray for hope.
Please God, give me the strength to cope, let my life be uncomplex.
Please God, help me stand strong against my fear.
Give me the wisdom to do whats right, and the power to fight the good fight.
Please God, let me love only my son, let no man disrupt my life again.

Poetically Grateful

In the space between mother and daughter and sister to sister
There is no room for conditions, grudges, or doubt
The fruits of caring, compassion, and trust are more than abundant
Nuturing and support keep it in tact
Sometimes annoyance and frustration invade this sacred territory
But the pressure of the heavy heart quickly squeezes them away
This space is made of phenomenally uncomplex matter
It isn't confusing or misleading but it is, and most likely will remain, unquestioned
In moments when crybabies cry tears of anger and sorrow
Here they cry tears of relief and gratitude
