Premium Member Seijaku It's Time

Strumming along to a troubadour's lament
tears pool and flow while I press
the strings playing out the notes
forcing myself as
I struggle to forge forward
overcome with a sorrow beyond sorrows
and a grief with no relief
Through the rhythm of the music
my heart relaxes
the timing, the tempo
measured with intimate design
the lyrics vibrate softly
streams of colorful patterns
hues of indigos and yellows
suffuse my mind
resonate within and through me
soothing the jarring cacophony
unblocking the dark kaleidoscopic roots
strangling my bright spirit
and writhing aspiring soul
It’s times like these
I know I’ll be calmed
as I cradle my guitar
and let the tears fall and wash away
this incessant tempestuous scourge
with the prayerful affirmations
It's time to put it away
rest its strings
along with the gnawing merciless
uncertainties

Heavenly Gates Wide Open

With heavenly gates wide open, earth unsealed
As walls come down, obstacles vanish from our field
New impressions arise within our mind
Unblocking our thinking, freshly aligned
Our thoughts take new wing
For strength to flow, joy to spring.
Royalty adorn upon our gown draped
Overcome the invincible, for evil is already defeated
Move back to move ahead with heaven’s might
Advance and ascend with heaven’s insight
Occupy the realms of honour and success,
For our Source, the Anchor, we profess
The Dreamweaver, World Shaker, true
To His Word, will guide us to our breakthrough!

My Internet Boyfriend

It started out slow
And then it got serious.
I thought it was just a game until you called me kitten
Feelings got in the way when I saw your face
You were trouble from the beginning and I knew it
Using your words in a way to tease and seduce me
Many limits were pushed when I talked with you
Sweet, peaceful and innocent turned into naughty, scary and real
Nobody knew, you were my little secret
Until I was told that you loved me
Perhaps you really did, but then you got clingy
Which turned into overprotective
You made me think that you were all I needed
Getting scared was next to normal and at first it was fun
But unblocking you and allowing you to call me baby was my mistake
Fear made me answer and apologize
Your gas-lighting and guilt tripping made me think it was my fault
When I promised I would not leave, it was a trap
Laying that trap for myself was terrifying
Even though I loved you, I had to let go
The toxicity was suffocating
I do not regret backing away, deleting and blocking you
As a matter of fact, I am proud of me
Thank you for making me stronger and teaching me what my worth is
You were the mistake that needed to happen

Paying Your Tithe

A time-tested spiritual banking,
Higher and higher one goes in ranking,
Slammed doors sweetly unlocking,
Hindering barriers unblocking…

From the wall one has been flung
And like a bag on a peg hung,
One beautifully bounces off,
Once more cooking better-off
Your trifle not with Malachi 3:10,
God having it written with His Pen;
No chance rubbishing of the injunction,
For whomever must get beyond our junction.

Tithe never is by rude force backed,
Wherefore their payers have often slacked;
Of course, to hellfire straight,
Who even does so late…

As much a robber,
Who could another clobber,
No less, The Shameless Looter,
Who easily turns A Shooter.

Unblock Me Times Three

Surely that is an impossible thing to do
How to go about it I'm sorry I haven't a clue
Time to call an expert as I ponder and think
There must be a way to unblock my sink

That can't be done I'm willing to wage a bet
Laid down a challenge the rules have been set
Surely that is an impossible thing to do
How do I wonder attempt to unblock my loo

Things comes in threes so I will say it again
This time I need help unblocking my drain
I fear that I will become a laughing stock
So many things needed to help unblock

Divinity of Self

Beyond every question…
God is the answer
filling in the gaps of our imperfection
offering hope in the face of despair
light to shine through the darkness
and promise
when abandonment is all we feel
lifting the burden that covers our greatness
reaffirming our choices
strengthening our wills on the forge of His power
unblocking the final entryway
—to ourselves divine

The Un-Blocked Ones

Circles of people
engaged with their failure
continue living
a ruined dreams’ tenure.
Blocking.

Together they walk
they talk and they cry
for their past is revealed
hidden pain when they smile.
Unblocking.

Vanity their common feeling
but they do have knowledge now
for each one has to become
mirror to the rest somehow.
Blocking.

Feelings of a pale hope
floating on the air among
for the things that can be changed
nothing lasts for a lifelong.
Unblocking.

Deep inside they do know
they have to leave their burden
before carrying another one
nothing in life is for certain.
Blocking.

When one falls on the ground
others gently lift them up
because they entirely understand
that the kindness caused the wound.
Unblocking.
