Backwards he walks watching them follow
watching them borrow closed mindedness
from life and words filled with need.
The Face of a Dog In Tears...his thought
Pain erases the eyes as life blinks
Love shades the ears silenced
The tongue wags. The tail sings peace.
Joy the black and white German shepherd
Even in color part black
On white paper colored white
Guided unleashed to a page too short
Facing a line drawn wrong twice
at a speed too forced leaning.
Smudged whiskers mark a nose with no holes
and an unapparent bark
Barks pleased to roam lead unstreaked.
Our needed comradery of course
based on a friendship unmatched
Is man's bestest pal unarmed?
Word related checkmate minded
Appeased to guide those whole souled
by means of a simple sketch
His hug foretold to hold even those
Those that bite back fighting flesh
Only to trace back time left
And so he draws selflessness by heart
in ways to unsleeve His love
for those that time will not set.

Not divine enough to deliver scriptures
Just a uncommon erector or life depicter
Unapoligetically painting pictures,
that expose the sinister.
Like these spiritually damaging supposed ministers
Preying physically upon our undeserving young brothers and sisters
Or politically inspired facade motivators
Attempting to build the highest encasing for elevators
Those with unapparent inclinations to deceive the nation
I pray till incoherent no reservations relieve my brethren
Searching for something more absorbent to our children than playstation
Waiting for an understanding heaven sent blessings for the fallen
And my thought process at times transgressed
Hard fought this stress nights could not rest
Send deep breaths through chest have many regrets
light sleep distressed were blest through tests
I spill my mind on the canvas like blood from open arteries
To heal the blind go bloodless like twice chosen batteries
Ran races with madness the finish line held tragedies
Then escaped that sadness now I spread these realities.

Victoriana
Pier
Stands
Monumental.....
Of the glory days long gone
The train rumbles on as a confused old lady
Unsure of her destiny yet still she travels on
Young faces embrace with baited breath
Peering anticipation pressed on smeery glass
Wooing and cooing as objects roll by
Parents smile in adoration as their little ones ask 'why?'
And it's all so reflective, the sheen of the sea,
Glass thoughts imagination as we
Watching faces, aging lovers, flowing dresses, flip-flops
Baseball caps and the odd few shops
De-board to stretch and sigh, relish the visions which greets the eye
Chips on the promenade an absolute must
Rossi ice cream to flourish in lust
Just sea and breeze with breaths and smile
To stop take time, enjoy (our) while
Lean on the piers aged frame,
Whilst fishermen reel
Young pollacks play games
Streamline they race
Against the incoming current
Side flips cause amazement
As to why? Unapparent
Thousands in the shade of the aged old pier
Return to same spot year after year
Just like us and our forefathers before
An irresistible meeting ground
We cannot ignore
(love the old pier)

She stood at the sink
with her head in her hands.
Fully knowing this wasn't
the life she'd planned.
Life's seasons were getting
shorter and colder.
Her bones sing their misery
both louder and boulder.
Drained by the cruelty of
a love gone indifferent.
Inside she crumbles seeking
strength now unapparent.
A glimmer of hope looms
in a distant light.
Her prayers will soon be answered
and end her plight.
