Drowning in my blood
the vampire had
the lapse of consciousness.
I embraced the night
without moon.
Why does it happen
day in and day out ?
You allowed the blood sucking
which was the choice for unanswering
of unpleasent questions.
I survive in death
staining the shirt,
keeping the footsteps waiting.
I had kissed a light
falling on the squirming dark.

Tireless thoughts flowing aimlessly
Unceasing in their constant bombardment
Against my militia of dreams
Retreating back, they are as fast as they are sweet
Senses unfatigued
Resilient to wear and Sleep's silent onslaught
Merciless against Slumber's war
Winning every battle with the slight brush of a fingertip
Dewey-eyed lust. like mist, evaporates with a blink of an eye
Unanswering; with motives unknown, it keeps you guessing
Progressing unspoken love.
Restlessly defeated with every flash of ivory
Sleep- unwanted but very much needed
I disown for you.

Drugged with illusion,
I stamp against the soils of my sins.
Flapping off my paper wings
I lose myself on the covers
Of the streets.
Still, you keep on unanswering me
As your chest gets colder,
As your shadow fades
Within the me that
You once possessed.
Dawn is breaking in your eyes
Making me unfall in love with you.
You pull me in
Like you were made for me.
Losing all of my gravity,
I grab your hand
And we run in this rush
That chases down the dawn.
I glance at the you that
Silently fades, breaking through my calm…
You lie to me
And tell me everything’s going
To be just fine.
But it’s not!
You’re not the ever
That I covet and I don’t need you
More than ever.

THE SECRET OF THE STARS.
As the day draws to dusk, and day, nears its end,
Night’s curtain slowly begins to fall,
I watch the horizon, for the first,
Silent sentinels, to call.
As the night is enveloped into darkness,
They, many fold, begin to appear,
Some so vary far, yet some so near.
They glow, incandescently, flickering,
Like a candle flame in the breeze,
There call, illuminating, in the vast expanse,
So alive, they sway,
These astral giants seem to dance.
Longingly, I reach out to touch them,
To know them, and to know, why,
Yet silent they remain, as ever unanswering,
Distant,
Their communion forever am I denied,
Not once, has one of them replied.
Such is the secret of the stars,
The complexity of them , and the vastness, unknown,
Forever beautiful,
Eternal.
