Lies And Rumors

Never underestimate
How the way you instigate
Trouble every single day
It is making blue skies grey
For everybody that you meet
There's a cloud over the street
That you're always walking down
It's affecting this whole town
Every word you say is truthless
You are rotten really ruthless
Telling hurtful painful lies
Your ready to criticize
Anyone crossing your path
Leaving a whole aftermath
Of destruction hard to fix
You keep playing these mind tricks
That are so very unkind
Leaving a big mess behind
What's making you act this way
You need to stop before the day
Your taught a valuable lesson
By someone who isn't messin'
Around with your kind of crap
You will push them, they will snap
Maybe then you'll realize
Spreading vicious rumor lies
Will finally get you in trouble
Busting open your safety bubble

First to the moon
     first to Mars
   We use AI
     to drive our cars

   Carbon-free emissions
     stockpile of munitions
   Our nation's a superpower
     the world, ours to devour

   Before we strike
     here's what we're like ~
   Execrable, ruthless
     wicked, truthless

Premium MemberGambler's Confession

If my story be told, Lord, I’d have to confess,
I’m a rattlesnake scoundrel, no more and no less.
But I’ll bet even Jesus forgives me my vice.
Seems we both lost our shirt on a throw of the dice.
I’m a graceless, tasteless gamblin’ man,
A working class wager, a Labor Day scam.
Ask not what I’ll give ya, I don’t give a damn.
I’m just a hard gamblin’ man.

I’m a bitter-fruit flower, a weed to the root.
Keep a seven-inch lock-blade tucked in my boot.
See, if life’s been a lesson, then I ain’t learned sh*t.
I’m a bad bridge to cross and a good job to quit.
I’m a ruthless, truthless gamblin’ man,
A head full of fever, a mouth full of sand.
I tip the night porter with blood on my hand.
I’m just a hard gamblin’ man.

Don’t play games with my heart, girl, you’re messin’ with sin.
I’m a slick soulless devil. You ain’t gonna win.
If you’re tryin’ to bluff, I’ll be readin’ your mind.
If you’ve got a full house, I’ll have four-of-a-kind.
I’m a shameless, blameless gamblin’ man.
I’ve been to St. Louis. I’ve been to Japan.
Ain’t slept with a woman I never outran.
I’m just a hard gamblin’ man.

True To Life

Truth as we see it
Is not as we’d choose it.
The true say “so be it,”
The truthless refuse it.

Life as we want it
Is not as we hold it.
The lifeless still haunt it,
The living remold it.

Becoming Oneself

Truthless,
I was searching the self,
in truth of life.

It leaves many
questions, unanswered.
There was import-

of risqué. The generated
heat would kill
ordinary answers.

You can tear up,
a mountain to release
the particles,

although invisible.
You stretch out your hands
to collect black currants.

For a kick-start
you start shouting.
I am the truth !

Maya Angelou proclaiming
She knows why the caged bird sings
While a raven Says forevermore
Brings to mind Edgar Allan Poe

Sir Walter Raleigh did inspire
with his poem "Like truthless dreams my Joys expire"
Emily Dickenson gave us many wonderful verses
"Apparently with no surprise" being among the first

For sonnets with poetic flair
None can compare
To the great William Shakespeare
