Saw the ghost of Bradman
Strolling out onto the Oval
On a Summer’s afternoon
And I heard the sound of leather on Willow
As he followed on through
On a wet Saturday afternoon
Saw the ghosts of Fos Williams and Jack Oatey
At the Alberton Oval in the rain
As the ball was kicked on through
And the crowd gave its usual refrain

With my feet ten feet off Rundle Mall
Walkin’ in Adelaide
Do you know how it feels?
Put on my RMs and drove my Holden down
Crossed over the Torrens River
Roy Rene I see handy
On Hindley Street in the footpath
And he was always ready for a laugh
And saw the ghost of Sir Tom Playford
At the Adelaide Railway Station
From the morning train
He walked up to the door of the House
And he walked on through
Walkin’ in Adelaide
With my feet ten feet off Rundle

Lybird are raises voice in happiness
Clouds are weathering the leaf in garden
Birds and Flowers delighting full
The species of birds gets shelter on tree
Pins tree grownup to shake hands with sky
It paints and wonders of marvelous thing
Hot and wet shares the time
Exotic flora is the bright and red
Showy flowers beautify the place
Torrens and frome spreads smells too
Mansion builds in between heap of tree
Sun is tries to penetrate the lights
Blue Mountain pass the Eco of my song
Lapwing more rivulets are near
Ayers rocks more on the mount
Storms and rain reads on the face
Always wonder so it repeats
Monolith reminds the name ancient
