Care and love my tomcats from me desire,
As my neglect leaps from pan into fire.
They wait in silence till their patience tires.

China seems to say at all times
Great Movie sprouts from The Cheap Crime’s;
From kicked persons who could kick back;
From nimble moves that didn’t slack;
A herald of breathless combats
And plain request men turn Tomcats,
End victory to Innocence,
Because that’s about what makes sense…
America longs to be god
By always checking every odd,
No space granting “” stereotype
That could off dollars from hands wipe…
Yet, sometimes, their pistols are heard,
Now not by Cowboys with their herd,
A badly stretched distanced mother
Ready finally for murder…
It’s an amazing spreading-out
By a unit which hates to rules flout;
In some films makes sure few guns shout
And for best actors for roles scout…
Picture an industry aware
You don’t image sell like a ware.

Before iron winter commands the land
The brown ground sparks a bittersweet blaze
Bonfire breezes cross in smoky strands
Where nut stashing squirrels pause to gaze
On museums of leafy orange haze
Maroon afternoons of apple's sharp bite
Foretells the night tomcats dress as jaguars
Tricking candies for ghoulish appetites
For sweet treats, they knock on doors near and far
As spells of cuteness fill their cookie jars
Even when the morning sun flees the east
And the rains arrive, secluded and dank
We prepare to share the harvest feast
For the coming spring, behind the cloud banks
For the warmth of family ~ I give thanks.

Minchkins and Munchkins eyes twitter and twitch
Glorifying carnivoric conquests fair
Dining on country found delicacies at which
Some cats stick city slick noses in the air
Nothing juicier than catching meat on the go
My quick tomcats Minchkins and Munchkins know
They nibble on tiny mole and vole head,
Laughing maniacally where creatures dare tread.

There once were two tomcats
Who wore tiny top hats.
They sat on a fence each night
And sang catcalls by moonlight
Until they saw two pussycats.
They each made a polite bow
Tipped their hats and said, "Meow!"
"You pussies are out late."
"Would y'all like a hot date?"
"Meow yes," they replied, "and here they come now."

It's possible there is another you
Just as decent and giving and good.
There may even be one as true
Who'd bless every life if she could.
It's possible that ferrets can fly,
And that bats bemoan the night.
There are tales of monkeys that sigh
And of tomcats that never fight.
It's possible there's a rare being
Who resides in a far-away clime.
Born with beauty that blesses seeing—
Nearly the equal of you who are mine.
It's possible to think of a time hence
When life's mysteries will be unwound.
But for me the wait has no suspense—
One sweet as you will never be found.

The 23rd Parody
Loch David Crane
1979
The Hawk is my ship, Sir;
I shall not want.
She maketh me to lie down
in a hard rack.
She bounceth me over
the rough waters.
She unsettleth my stomach.
She leadeth me into
the Indian Ocean
for our country's sake.
Yea, though I sail through
the ocean of the shadow of Communism,
I will fear no aggression,
for she is with me.
Her helos and Tomcats, they comfort me.
She prepareth a fine mess for me
in the presence of the bear.
She anointeth my head,
except during water hours;
my cup runneth dry then.
Surely, good ports and fine memories
shall follow me all the days I am short,
and I will dwell
under her nuclear umbrella forever.
