Sculpting human: Tinkering out-loud

  The precursor

Who you are and what you are is your personal dream. It is only when you speak it into the stream of the world that you can claim to be a member of A Living Society.

It's your obligation to do so and the only way that others like yourself (your real family) are gathered together into collective efforts - to make the world new again.

Notes:

We exist as a collective spiritual revolution as every voice - including your personal truths, fearlessly fashioned are added to the symphony of Gaia song.

Premium MemberTinkering With Tennyson

Alfred, Lord Tennyson,
When all was certainly said and done,
Wrote “Better to have loved and lost…,”
Perhaps that was the bar he crossed.

Premium MemberTinkering Hands

We would like to
eat steaks in Alaska
or fry battered mushrooms,
but the there is money
to be made
in the Southland.
The irises bloom here thickly,
and roses bleed,
while tinkering hands
use up the day.

Tinkering Time

in the shop with hardware and bits of wood
can make almost any man feel useful, good

a screwdriver, a drill, some papered sand
away from day-to-day, simply out of demand

just tinkering around with piddling things
the easy satisfaction messin' 'round brings

no major renovation, or building earthworks
just little improvements, near anonymous perks

unsqueaking a hinge, maybe unstick a drawer
fittingly better is what tinkering's for

whether it's the thing of attention being repaired
or the man doing the labor, it's hard to declare

so too, it can be with words on page or a screen
to ensure understanding, say exactly what you mean

a glued letter, word oiled, or nailing a phrase
brings the writer satisfaction of all he surveys

so I continue to tinker a little bit more
on a few couplet lines, with no guarantor

that I'll illicit from you, oh diligent reader
understanding or joy, from this rambling meter

but that is a small sideline to most of my tinkers
it's time tinkering matters to meandering thinkers

Tinkering Saga

when we fall from our idle tongues
to the traveling tracks of virgin drums
and conclude our moist lips,
to the odorous of angelic bird-songs.
all to be our own little tinkering saga,
sailing over the alpha and omega.
chance evident if innocent,
loose hands trickle the magnificent,
as the spider spins and spins her cobweb
to catch the stars of pure hearts
so they can everlastingly shine and be tied
and be cited by those who lost their steed,
for they loved with swords on duckweed.
so if you glimpse skyward to assert,
may all burdens and afflicts avert
that the tinkering saga can exert to concert,
in your heart, so all can be beautifully art
and you can depart blithely from tears
to the stars of pure hearts.

Nature Is Tinkering

Nature is tinkering
And timber
Leaning on the rope
To the law of gravity
While breaking branches
Sharpen the storylines
I am using this saw
To divide infinite numbers
So that my suede shoes
Are merely muddy moccasins
So, the sticks are stacked
And she’s dragging her own limbs
To the heaving heap
