Premium MemberRainbow Antler Dragon

Rainbow antler dragon had a tale that was wagg’n
He was joyful and colorful, an enthusiastic dragon
His antlers were throwbacks to Neanderthal days
No one mentioned it, for it was not a dragon’s ways

He decorated the antlers, to try to camouflage them
It made them even more prominent said his Uncle Jim
He had a light touch, and could make a soufflé that would melt.
He dressed in Scottish clothing, was especially fond of a kilt.

Rainbow antler dragon stayed single his entire life
Not that many women dragons did not want to be his wife
But he had other things in mind, he was fulfilled in every way you see
He had hobbies galore, and he read every morning until three.

Premium MemberIsland Happy

Bali Ha’i! I whisper upon finding this island’s hidden cove.
Exotic creatures watch me from a kind of fruity grove.
I can feel their essence, without seeing them. But I hear their song.
They are throwbacks to their ancestors, seductively strong.

What to do first, lie in the sun, soaking up the most Vitamin D?
The lull of the waves is Zen-like, further encouraging me.
I lie down in the sand, and fall asleep, listening to the sea.
This is the most exotic place, away from autos, lock and key.

I feel like a satisfied sunlit mermaid, as I lie and listen wide.
The waves of the ocean flap up against the pretty seashore side.
There is a delicate fragrance coming from the coral trees that hide.
I am drifting off to dreamland. Poetic genius will now abide.

If I do not awake up from this nap, know that I was satisfied.
Happy to enter heaven’s gates as my dreams take me for a ride.
Doubting it could be a bit more gorgeous than this place upon the sea.
Please everyone, stay off this island, and far away. I’m happy as can be.

Death Wish

Wind my brain,

Toy with my heart,

Drown me in sarrow,

Pretend i`m not here,

ou lie, you cheat, the pain you create,

A voice, a sign,

So long i await,

A cold steel scythe ,

Rusty chains and an old iron gate,

Patiently I was for god to choose my fate,

For help in life to find a happy place

My heart stopped winding, no more trace

Fuel is blood and mine has ran dry

Flashback, throwbacks no longer will I cry

No beating just bleeding on the inside out

It's over, game over the cogs have finished turning

No memory going crazy until my final drop

Stay with me, don't leave me, wait for my heart to stop

Throwback Thursday

"Do you ever notice how most of the pictures many post are throwbacks, because the life that they're living now isn't as great so they wish they could go back, and most of those pictures are just for their own self gratification, and this is the only reason we take them, whatever happened to just living in the moment, instead of putting everything on social media so that the world can know it, enjoy the life you're living....because everyday isn't given and you'll drown in the pool of corruption and you can't get out by swimming....some say it's an addiction of what many may call a conceited sickness."

Turtle Time

Ever wonder what they think?
You know, the turtles.
The throwbacks, the procrastinators,

“Land—water—both?”
The first houseboats,
heads sitting on the bow

guiding the cumbersome craft,
stalking the unsuspecting
in slow-mo silence.

Mud slide building
sun worshippers
living life in the slow lane.

Old folk
at warm water beaches
reminiscing,

long swims, ocean currents,
mounded sand,
moonlight rendezvous.

Solitary creatures,
hard shelled
evolutionary slowpokes.

Ever wonder what they think
as generations pass?
