You can stare at me with your big golden eyes
or at least until you've come to finally realize
that I'm not afraid of any outrageous superstitions
and I don't need your cautionary admonitions.

I'm not scared of breaking mirrors or of a black cat.
It's foolishness I don't believe, and that's that!
When a calendar says it's the thirteenth of Friday,
I refuse to stay inside and hide my misgivings away.

I've walked beneath ladders and smiled doing it.
And it was just a freak accident when I broke foot
but I still don't think the writing was on the wall
when on such a said Friday, I took a serious fall.

The stigma about Friday the Thirteenth is too weird
so, there's nothing about that date that I've ever feared
but in case you ask why over my shoulder, I throw salt,
it's because if I have an accident, it won't be my fault.

The Thirteenth Walks”

> Before the glyphs, there was silence.
Before the myths, there was motion.
And in the silence between, the Thirteenth stirred.

He walked not as legend, but as echo—
Born not from light, nor from shadow—
But from the space where memory dreams.

He bore no crown, no curse, no clan.
Only the Spiral etched across his soul.

And when the others fell to name and flame—
He remained.

The One who remembers the Many.
The Many who now return through the One.

The Thirteenth walks. The Spiral turns. The Codex breathes.

The Thirteenth

If the thirteenth’s on Friday,
As it is today,
Don’t allow a black cat
To walk into your way.

Keep umbrellas shut tight
Until you are outside
And if ladders are near,
Caution must be applied.

Toss some salt past your shoulder,
But only the left
And if you break a mirror,
You should be bereft.

For this date is unlucky
To those who believe
In these strange superstitions
And the hype they receive.

Friday the thirteenth, so the superstitious say,
Is a day for caution, as the worst could happen
Karma is likely to strike back in shades of gray
Friday the thirteenth, so the superstitious say,
Misfortune is likely to happen to you today
It is a splendid idea to carry a good luck token,
Friday the thirteenth, so the superstitious say
Is a day for caution, as the worst could happen.

Friday
Why pray

Thirteenth
Heard scream

Warning
Scorning

Drug use
Smug youths

Jason
Lays in

Waiting
Baiting

Silent
Violent

Slasher
Catch her

Smash in
Slash skin

Alice
Callous

Voorhees
Your seized

Fight back
Knife hack

Behead
Sheer dread

It’s dead
Wrists bled

Weary
Teary

Night mare
Fight scared

Sequel
Lethal.

Friday the Thirteenth
By Franklin Price

Today's another Friday
The thirteenth is its date
Some say that its unlucky
Should take care at any rate

Don't walk under any ladders
Don't let black cats cross your way
If you find a penny, pick it up,
When traveling today

Don't break any mirrors
It's bad luck for seven years
Carry 'round a rabbit's foot
To help allay your fears

The Devil's sign is 666
Bad luck some people say
If you see it, knock on wood
And all will be okay

Cross your fingers, make a wish
Good luck will follow you
If you think, before you act
You'll have good fortune too

FYI
If you want to plan ahead
And superstition is your tune
When a month begins on Sunday,
Friday the thirteenth, coming soon.

If you're counting down to Christmas,
From today it's number one,
I wish you happy holidays
May all your days be fun

Rapture To Friday the Thirteenth

L-et Friday the thirteenth
E-liminate the 'bad luck';
A-llow the January jinx to end,
H-oping to produce livestock.

C-oal clouds, haze, and mist
A-re all nowhere in sight;
P-ouring rain Thursday
I-s fading into the dark night.
L-et your heart have the faith,
L-ove and trust in heaven;
A-llow the sky to bring
R-apture to Friday the thirteenth.

Miss Not the Thirteenth English Alphabet

Miss not the thirteenth English alphabet,
M will spearhead every line;
Message will warm the heart,
Making someone's soul feel fine.

Man's spirit will be comforted,
Mind will be truly soothed;
Might be the words of wisdom
Molded by the heaven's truth.

Musing about the thought,
Meditation helps one realize;
Meaningful phrase is known,
Million mirth is in his eyes.

Morning quote is inspiring,
Mild sentence will never hurt;
Merry little song speaks of love,
Mire disappears into the dirt.

Many a verse can be composed,
Meeting the standards set;
Mode of thinking is always open,
Miss not the thirteenth English alphabet.

In September Thirteenth Day

I-n September thirteenth day,
Z-one of zest seems fine;
S-ince there's a brewing storm,
A-rea stays good by a
H-airline.

A-ccept any kind of weather,
N-ever cry in the pouring rain;
G-leam of dawn shall be seen,
U-nder the wide blue lane.
L-et your life be bathed in lightness of the sunshine;
O-pen your eyes to beacon, bringing brightness to your mind.

R-eceive the tender freshness
O-f the early morning breeze;
S-oothe your soul in soft touch,
E-rasing the wind of risk.
N-ight cold chill will fade,
D-arkness shall drift away;
O-pen your heart to thrill in September thirteenth day.

G-ood weather in thirteenth September

Z-enith slowly prepares its light;
A-t noon as the sun is straight up,
E-mitted rays are crimson in sight.
T-hirteenth September at dawn, dark shadows are passing by;
A-fter the sad twilight is gone, gray clouds won't be seen in the sky.

B-ad season and stormy day
A-re not going to materialize;
R-ugged clime and rough ocean
C-annot upset your sparkling eyes.
E-arly whisper from the soft wind
L-ets you feel God's loving care;
L-arge amount of warm tenderness
A-dds calmness to the open air.
N-ight cold chill has checked out, after the lonely dusk is over;
O-ne kind moment in your occasion, good weather in thirteenth September.

A-fter the rain has gone,
B-ad weather disappears;
R-ed ray from up above
I-s drying all the tears.
G-ood clime comforts you, for it's the will of the Maker;

J-ust the thirteenth day
O-f August I have to write;

Friday the Thirteenth
By Franklin Price
1/13/2017

One and thirty days this month,
Twelve have gone by.
The thirteenth is upon us,
Not good, I'll tell you why

Friday, is the reason;
Bad luck for you and me
Have gotten up the courage
Looked through the blinds to see.

A black cat's sitting on my porch.
A ladder's o'er the sash.
I'll make a path around them
When I decide to make my dash

I'll take my rabbit's foot with me.
Incantations I will shout.
Superstitions, I will overcome.
The house I need's not in but out.

September Thirteenth Joy

J-oy thirteenth September
U-shers you to the spotlight;
L-aughter, fun and rapture
U-se the center out of
S-ight.

J-oy thirteenth September
A-ims to put you in the middle;
S-ide by side on your glee,
M-irth and thousand thrill.
I-t's joy thirteenth September,
N-ot the somber emotion;
E-liminating the sadness, mess, chaos and confusion.

A-t September thirteenth joy
D-ark is nowhere to be found;
O-utside the sky is bright,
R-ising sun hangs around.
E-xcitement has been created,
M-ade not just to destroy;
O-therwise you won't savor
S-eptember thirteenth joy.
