Temporaries Poems | Examples

Permanent Temporary

Temporal is aiming for permanence
But much benevolence paints the prudence
To keep change changing
To keep range ranging
To give meaning to purpose and hope
To create a future into which to elope
From an old past on stone cast
Onwards fast to a great that will last

Even that which may last forever
In light of memory that may favour whatever
Will suffer oblivion
And the wavering of opinion
Until it is craved for and recalled
Once again hailed and installed
Only to be trampled underfoot again
And such be the recurring strain

So affirms the permanence of temporaries
Times and heirs being the emissaries
Passing down through the years
All cheers and jeers across seers and peers
And so it is now as it was then
Such temptations common to men
Throughout time and space
Even as enduring wisdom is strained of grace

Human chain meant Starman ... breathing room trips,
H**** sapiens chose ... plus naught minus,
the apocalypse ... opts total eclipse,
self-acquaintance, he splits us, Linnaeus,
Con temporaries times, countdown it chills,
Adolph & Stalin it ticks and it tocks,
Pre temporaries times, pour down it spills,
Alexander, Khan drip sands as it stocks,
Once down on the time, leaves heaped reds and golds,
down on one-timers, the large waterholes.
Cause and effects--pause and reflect; Reserved,
Blessed manifest--Grace takes His Place; The Word.

Perfection

'Forever'!! It seemed like heaven for them,
One they always searched for.
But somehow she could never relate to it,
It all felt like a bondage to her,
"When one can live life with all the options,
Then why to limit oneself with that one person."
Well that one sentence shaped exactly her emotions.
Forever is never bad, it's actually the perfection.
But that perfection has its own age for existence.
Until that time comes, why to rush, why to leave all the rocks unturned ?
Beauty of life is in the faults, faults that could be in our stars or sometimes in theirs.
Yes! The ultimate happiness is in finding the forever but the path to reach the perfection,
It is through finding the temporaries.
That is the golden rule, she tries to follow ,
And maybe just for fun, everyone should also try,
Even if it is just for once. So yes!!
"Temporary is the new perfection"

Grin Now Or Smile Later

Do you fall victim to the temporaries?
Can’t wait, need it now, or on the contrary,
Do you choose a later time to shine?
Burning your fire so yo light will blind
Not just twinkle and settle for a blink,
But inable others to see, while trying to think,
How did you do it, and are you blessed?
Choices and sacrifices are on the test?
Don’t wear white to life dressed as a waiter,
Because we can grin now or we can smile later…

Travelers of Time.

This poem was inspired by James Blaylock's "Traveler", which was a great poem.
I could not have written this piece without inspiration by Mr. Blaylock, So James-
Thank you so kindly Sir. God bless all poets-MJG.

Travelling and travelling with speed so fast...
Hopely happly will memories last.

Days of travel remains on my mind...
I hope to God that i'll never go blind.

In and about and all around...
Hope to God that i may one day remember from to my ears that i will always hear
a loved ones uttered of sounds.

Travel is my eye to life's own much enjoyed memories...
I hope to my own mind that those pictures are permanent and never any days of
these will not be listed as experienced as those termed many one's temporaries.
