DEITY FOR LAITY or THE RELUCTANT ATHEIST
Oh! must we talk of God? Myself I think I’d sooner look
At what I perceive without a preconceived idea, prescription
We could quote the words of others since they’re written in a book
That proclaims that it alone contains the holy true description
Or could speculate with reason on what ought to be the truth
Using Boolean equations, syllogisms by the dozen
Draw Venn diagrams and mind maps, argue then with words uncouth
That He really must exist - or on the other hand He doesn’t
So I’ll stick with what I know and that’s including Thou and thine
Tell me of your own cognition, I’ll esteem your clear sincerity
Also those who’s lives I’ve known for whom I’d use the word “ Divine”
And that’s good enough for me ‘till I perceive a higher verity
I accept this world originates in one or more creator
But am cautious to endorse a sole, benevolent, Dictator
You see my eyes in the night,
haunting in a vacuum.
I see only your flesh and blood,
regardless of the hour.
I must fear lest I be evil;
reflect emotions in syllogisms.
I don't fear, but still I feel,
though my logic escapes you.
You see me in fields of wire
picking anodes like flowers.
You can't accept cells
walking on land, free as herons.
Stupidity's the matte of your eye
where insight should be planted.
Look inward for your answers,
not to me for your excuses.
I don't produce hate like plasma
in the veins
lest I drink it and die of poison.
Baloney….
Bully others cause by masters strength and poses.
Fall your faces and first to grounds because dirt may good.
Filthy men have nothing pretty only there may be forces and might confer or hired from masters.
China tyrant some with china shysters take the tastes of swine.
China jester out on life is like a snob to live and count.
China flunky henchman wants a lot.
Who will seek their fringe benefits shamelessly?
Things that Indeed are buying also selling tickets but there are illegal fringe benefits. There are cook account books. Credit accounts mixed with some debit one is blend for self interests.
China syllogisms want the real of wars and loot of spoils.
What to fit in china tyrants wishes are evil men with evil acts.
