Haunted

Haunted

Haunted by past mistakes, you have yet to let go
Haunted by the love ones you have come to know
Haunted by voices in your head, running amuck
Haunted by events leaving you feel dumbstruck

Haunted by worries that can consume you whole
Haunted by depilating burdens that takes its toll
Haunted by choices, the right and the wrong ones
Haunted by cruelty, making you stick to your guns

Haunted by fears, so surmounting, so surreal
Haunted by emotions, so overcoming, so real
Haunted by memories, revealed in deep sleep
Haunted by confusion, embedded so deep

Haunted by loneliness, so least expected
Haunted by distrust, feeling so disrespected
Haunted by such anger that we fear to share
Haunted in so many ways, the burdens we bare

Premium Member Fade

Fade in the rain
Leach out false gain

Fate by the gate
Can feel too late

Time fades away
Gone in a day

Seek to know how
Time ends right now

Play and ploy crash
To ink inquest

If you must fade
Mull a good trade

Nothing much here
To cast good cheer

Ample the flash
In dying dash

No much more then
Not even when

Stick to your guns
Stretch a good run

Defy the strains
That fashion pain

Sometimes

Sometimes we need the love
Sometimes we feel the hate
But all the time we need something we do not have
Life falls in halves
Many path with many patterns
We need to stroll
Hearts know no rest
for we live in a rush
Death is the pest
We are a field for the feast
Our drive is to find peace
We blew up the beast in the end
So we can see the evil is airborne

Sometimes we need to take time
To reach out our hands
For destiny is a bird
Just stick to your guns
Kill a few dreams in the process
Water-spilled but we thirst
It is worth it in the end
Life is a unique field
Full of different people
Everytime it will look complex
Let us try to understand
For we only live sometimes

Stick To Your Guns

Men can doctor things
the unreal can be real
fake and duplicates exist
impossible can be possible
the lie can be adored truth
the world can be yellow
when it is a rainbow of enigma
but stick to your guns
and fire bullets of truth
hold the banner of light
wave white cloth of peace
even when the whole world
is wrong and all are there
be alone with the truth
one man right and firm as rock
can save whole world wrong
the Angel of truth watching
will crown you with victory

Paxton Jerry

There is a boy named Paxton Jerry.

He told me I was fun and never made jokes of my back—which is very hairy.

We would hold hands and play monsters at the park.

"Daddy, can we go to the park before it gets dark"?

How could I possibly say no to his sweet little voice?

And saying yes seems to be my best (only) choice.

Once upon a time while in a hurry, I said "Alright now, we gotta hurry so stick to your guns".

Avril Petals and Paxton Jerry looked right at each other, smiled, and made their hands look the part and we were off to enjoy some family fun.

One special Super Bowl Sunday we were fortunate enough to watch the big game together.

At this time of my life, I lived in South Seattle and on this special memory; such as unity, intimacy, love and happiness —timeless, priceless...will last forever.

Paxton has reached his 8th birthday today; one we shall not share.

Life has a gift allowing us hope that one day, we can share a hug, an "I love you", showing how much we really, care . . .

Happy Birthday Paxton! I love you and miss you so much!

Love,
     Dad

Eyes Sewn Shut

Living your life not caring who you hurt.
Your actions cannot be justified on any terms.
Look at what you've done!
You can't blame this on anyone but yourself.
Your eyes sewn shut you stick to your guns.
Your unrealistic expectations.
You're pathetic.
Taking out your frustration.
You fail to see who you've hurt.
Your living a life with a skewed perspective of perfection.
What can i do?
What can be done?
With your eyes sewn shut perfection is scarce.
I'll always fail to meet your expectations.
Defeated from the start i don't know how much longer i can take it.
With your eyes sewn shut you can only see the exterior that you claim to be filthy!
Why don't you look inside me?
Take a glance.
 One chance!
Open your eyes.
Imperfect but no one deserves this.
I'll never shine bright in your eyes as long as you keep them closed.
Failure is not an option but with you i have no other choice.
