When you're sad and down with worry
The way your eyes look so deep
And stress splays on your soft cheeks
You look so beautiful and cool, really
But I never like that you do not feel good
'Cause it makes me feel bad too
When your bright eyes shed those diamonds tears
Oh, how so you look beautiful my dear
But that I know there are cinders in those droplets
It makes me feel like there's a splinting ember in my chest
Darling, I do not like it when you become distressed
I do not feel good when you are not happy
Though, at those moments you still look pretty

Dreaded words.
Raining particles of death.
No place to go.
Out of time.
Many broken.
Hear the horn,
ringing aloud,
for the dead.
Cross of life,
rushing to aid.
Mangled bodies,
twisted, tangled.
Bleeding through,
bleeding out.
Pressure here,
bandage there.
TQ's all about.
Ready, set, lift,
straining to load.
Rough road.
Cash arrival.
Off load.
Cutting, sewing, splinting,
striving to survive.
Failure.
Plunging into darkness.
Fallen angels,
going home,
in an ebony box,
draped with the
Colors of Freedom.
