Join eloquent words is tempting task
invite them to your show is pure pride
demonstrate of wisdom is not talent
is total arrogance and contempt for others
is preaching without being blessed
is wanting to be greater than humanity.
and does not elevate anyone to holiness
even not allow anyone with God be right
still allows digging breaches of hell's path

Stereo Typical G.I.
David J Walker
Admittedly
I was way to easy
The stereo typical G.I.
The guy Willing to buy
The cool green Lights in a
Teakwood box connecting
Overpriced
Hi-Fi
Speakers to a
Belt drive
Turntable connecting to an
Open reel really cool tape deck
But what the heck
It’s only one paycheck
Every month to month for six months
Dead broke alone in a barracks
Full of other fools
With stereo’s and
No place else to go
Or money
To buy new records

The Tie Dye Grave
David J Walker
A gray ponytail from
A balding head
Vintage love beads and
A waterbed
A Garrard turntable and a
Marantz Amp
Pioneer speakers and a
Roach clip clamp
Some far-out sneakers
And a Lava lamp
Jimi Hendrix in a purple haze
Moody Blues from
Future past days
McCartney & Lennon in the
Beatles craze
The old grey hippie will his
Souvenirs save and
Take the 60’s to a
Tie dye grave

Sneakers that move on a hard bounce,
talking trash a lot ...
you don’t wanna put those feet
in your mouth
Irreverent voices of frivolity,
issuing utterances of demeaning words
Squashing low-esteem bugs is guaranteed ...
sneaker speakers love to be heard
But I ain’t really listening to a word they say,
simple-minded speech don’t swish my sway
And the trash just keeps spewing out
from their enamel pie hole,
double dribbles piling up funky bold
There be a lot of unathletic sneaker voices
being sold I’m told
Pot-bellied speakers that look graying and old
Politician playground trash talk
tweet bouncing on the cyber asphalt
Locker room misogynist speakers
is fake rubber bottom lips being bought
Synthetic vulcan words ... verbal trash that rots
Believe me,
you don’t wanna put those sneakers
in your mouth
So keep your ears open,
and your mouth shut
when in doubt

Nonsense, nonsense, spews from my mouth,
These random letters that flow away.
Unable to put them together, I walk away,
And leave my wasted words on the ground.
Nonsense, nonsense, that's all you speak,
Throwing insults is all that you can do.
Such a shame that a person is wasted,
And stealing tears from others.
Nonsense, nonsense, is all that we can speak,
For that's all we know how to speak.
All you could do was insult me, but I smile,
Because I know you're better than that.
Picking up your words, I piece them together,
And make a real sentence we both share.
"Hello, how you are?" Woops, I messed up,
But we both laugh it off and smile.
Fixing up each other's words, we laugh,
Companionship is such a nice thing.
No one else may speak our nonsense,
But we can speak for each other.

The clear sounds seep out of my viola
The orchestra croons, as if notes could speak
Of love found through rides in a gondola
Of love broken in a rash fit of pique
Many parts breathe as one, led by one thought
And all who can hear are in our sounds caught
The dead say what we know, and though they reek
We're gladly theirs, for such beauty all seek
