Give me a cozy armchair and my pajamas said Gee
He liked sitting on the savannah, pretending he had a TV
Why not get one? Asked the meercats, who wanted to watch.
Gee decided to turn his dream up a notch.
Maybe I’ll get a studio, with paints and such.
I could become a famous painter like Vermeer, a Dutch.
Or a space capsule, he said. I could be an astronaut.
The meercats sighed; but the TV was never bought.
Astronauts stranded,
at the International Space Station
heard strange noises recently
emitted from the diabled
Boeing Starlink capsule:
"I'm sorry, Dave."
"I'm afraid I can't do that."
I SPEAK THEE AS IGNORANT
AND AM PROUD TO SAY WHY.
HE SHUDDED HIS SHOULDERS AND LOOKED
TOWARD THE GROUND,
I SPEAK THEE AS IGNORANT, THAT YOU ALLOW
WORDS TO RILE YOU INTO ANGER
THAT SUCH PUT YOU BENEATH ME AND
SPEAK AS YOU ARE MY EQUAL: YET
WHEN SUCH IS SPOKEN YOU ARE MADE MAD
AS IT IS SCRIPTED FOR PERFORMANCE.
HE LOOKED AT HER AND SAID
THAN I MUST OBEY YOUR WORDS
AS YOU ARE AS EQUAL IGNORANT AS I.
THAT YOU SPEAK THRU THE TONGUE OF MY
BROTHER, AND STAND IN THE WAYS OF
THOSE WHO WISH TO BE RESPECTED.
YOUR WORDS COME THRU ANGER
BUT WHAT YOU WISH IS SOMETHING
UNPROVEN AND WRONG
AND IF I'M TO DO SUCH, YOU WILL
SPEAK ME AGAIN
AS IGNORANT.
THE WAYS TO DO SO HAS BEEN PROVEN
THE DIFF FRO MORE DESCRIBES THESE THIS
AS WAYS OF DIFFERANCE, TASK
THAT HAVE BEEN
CHORED FOR REPAIR,
MIGHT THE WAYS OF DO-DONE FOO
BE THE WAYS OF OUR DOING
THAN I SHALL NOT BE SEEN AS IGNORANT!
TRHAN SHE SPOKE, AND THAN I WILL BE SEEN
AS SOME WHO-DONE- LOVER OF YOUR KIND
I THINK NOT MISTER DUMMYBOY !
FIX THE THING LIKE I ANT
AND TAKE YOUR A$S AWAY FROM ME.
