What Is Woke?
Miracle Man
3/13/2023
Say social awareness don’t give me “woke”,
I’m not impressed with one’s use of slang.
Perpetuating it’s use has made it a joke,
politicians use this word to deliver harangue.
Some think it’s impressive spewing woke
and think that it makes them some big deal.
But they remain in my eyes a solitary spoke,
and a solitary spoke doesn’t make a wheel.
On wayward ivy
calyx in woodlands
a spruce-blue butterfly
sparkling rustles
of
sweet wind chant
swings in the ethereal morning light
legato lilts silken waves
in
sequined ambrosia shades
crimson undertones
on
oyster weaves
moonstone
&
damask
mist hummed melodies
a list of nostalgic queries
collude to bind
metamorphosis of spirit
and
personality
through social awareness
referred
to self and to you
harbinger
of
love and light
sparkling
through tonight's sky

Water Water everywhere,
We cannot live without it anywhere.
It is a vital resource,
Which is of utmost use.
But we pollute it and make it dirty,
Without thinking about the situation that without it we will
become thirsty.
Keep it clean or you will be sick,
Leading to so many diseases that will happen very quick.
It comes from clouds in the sky,
Falls on land for water supply.
We can neither add it
Nor subtract it.
For it is a continuous cycle of water
Which cannot be stopped ever.
We use water for so many things,
So why don’t we realise that it’s our duty to conserve before it
leads to its strange occurring.
Programmes and Social awareness have been made among
people about water conservation,
Which has taught many people that our tomorrow is saved only
when we do water preservation.
People are actively taking part in water conservation
By practicing rain water harvesting, afforestation and adopting
sprinkler irrigation.

Environment is our mother,
Which provides us with shade in summer,
It takes care of us day and night,
But we don’t respect it despite.
We pollute it with harmful chemicals and plastics,
In spite of knowing that aquatic animals are killed by these micro plastics.
Why don’t we understand our duty towards it?
It gives us oxygen, shelter, food and many more things which make the lives of many fit.
Let us take an initiative to start an affair,
Taking some steps upstairs,
Making people more aware towards their environment,
For future’s betterment.
Many Programmes and Social awareness have been made among people about environment conservation,
Which have taught many people that our tomorrow is saved only when we do nature preservation.
By using 3Rs and taking steps to ensure preservation of nature,
We can become a nature nurturer.

Social awareness springs life in all its many forms of fault
On a thin, blank film of ring which encircles the audience seated,
Wherein precursive images befall the sight of sovereign role-gazers
Who seek after the preservation of authority in place of the refinement of the very sprite itself
For in this gleaming presence, numerous reflections of the seated alighten in passing
Which would bear witness a good fortune on its observers if it will be known
For the dispelling of delusion lies in contribution
As traits of individuals accommodate new affiliations
Through the hallways of the houses they build
A social excuse, vestiture for the chimera that simmer around the echoes that call a friend
A nasal contraction, whispers of ballet along with congenial manic fractures
A pigeons’ hall work as J. Farnsworth transfuses into moll work
Regaling distraction, appalling as adolescent prances conceive a hidden dimension
To decisions made on behalf of
An unknowing few
Surely your indecision wouldn’t assume
We’d all forget the Who
