Snoozy Poems | Examples

Premium MemberThe Sleeping Tree

in the afternoon in the woods of prey
slept an owl, a dragon, and a bear named Ray
A squirrel and a boy came along this way
They were soon snoozing as was a girl named Fay

A fawn could not help it, she soon closed her eyes and lay
next to the sleeping tree on that snoozy whoozy windy day
a wily rabbit stopped hopping, and decided to stay
it was the best sleeping tree in the woods of prey

High Fibre Harry

He is the baked bean tester
And he works the graveyard shift
He isn’t very fragrant
Now I think you’ve got the drift

For he’s frequently exploding
All the people call him names
And it’s ever so important
He avoids all naked flames

His underpants bear witness
Each emission leaves a blot
But they’ll be back on tomorrow
They’re the only pair he’s got

Each Friday it’s his bath night
He lies soaking, feeling snoozy
Relaxes rectal muscles
To create his own Jacuzzi

To Greatness

hey greatness, here's the latest innateness
impatience is moving slow. everybody knows. answers become innevitable.
true answers were hesitant to show. no one wants you or me to know. so they
talk about the unborn words. ask you to repeat what you heard and always say
your wrong. it always takes too long. she doesn't want to be discovered. she wont
want her happiness recovered. she only wants to be. and the only one who
see's. but it's known. reliance has gone away. defiance is here today. and those
who want to be misunderstood will be. my eyelids are heavy, my pulse is
unsteady, i'm beginning to feel a bit tired. snoozy, i'm dizzying to the ground.
some type of comfort i found. i'm just lying beside my paper and pen. writing
about now and then. reviving myself again. oh and it's january 1st, 3:33 pm.
