S’mores please
The sloppier the better
Not in the microwave!
Over an open campfire
With the marshmallow black on one side
That’s the crunchy part we do not get from microwaves
And while we are sitting here telling all of our secrets
Throw me two graham crackers and a Hershey bar
Nothing like the taste of a s’mores
on an October day in the dark, surrounded by friends
Who are telling stories they never shared with anyone before tonight
I imagine the white zinfandel has something to do with this too

One is nearly two hands wide
The other's rather long and thin
The first is somewhat limiting
The second, variety's built-in
One if often black or gray
The other's a rainbow of color
Yet both do get their point across
One way or the other
The first just asks a finger's touch
The second you get to steer so much
The first gets sloppier as you gain speed
The second'll go as fast as you need
Your pen or a keyboard: Which is better
It depends. Are you drawing pictures
~ or making letters
