Chronicles of the wayfaring sea

The sea stretches across a vast expanse
Blue and white, do the waves prance
As a boat struggles to stay afloat
When the waves draw themselves to their height entire
The folks crouch down and say oh sire!
Spare us of your wrath
For sinners and saints are we
And by every decree
Shall we adhere to our values
With a kind heart and a spirit free
The sea reduces to a mere dance
Its waves gentle as snow
Blue as the sky speckled with froth white
The orange sun now sheds light
Giving rise to a day anew
As golden and blue intersperse
Creating a sight spellbinding to man's eyes
In simplicity lies its beauty
Engulfing folk in mirth and joy
The ship peacefully sails ahoy

Snowflakes

Watching the snowflakes
Gently glide through the chilly air
Watching the snowflakes
Slowly combine and fall together

This one snowflake flew into my hands
It melted and drip out of my palm.
Why are my hands so destructive?
Whatever is in my grasps ends up disappearing.

I started to think about you and I.
We were snowflakes floating in the wind.
We were so close and became one
We split apart now, and I lost you.

Once the wind settles down
Maybe I’ll find you.
Instead I hit the ground
And started to melt apart.

I became water to become flexible to find you
You became ice because you repelled me
I came crashing and rushing to find you
While you were tranquil but so rigid

Instead of melting together
You pierced through me
And I evaporated away.

I took shape of any vessel you desired.
I kept changing who I was.
I tried to be what you wanted.
Instead, I lost myself trying to find you.

A Winter Walk

Like a window with crystals of snow,
I am cold.
Like the little fire in a furnace,
I glow.
My skin so numb,
What's underneath this u ever wonder?
Why would you?
when you yourself are at the edge where u stumble.
So I ask myself,
what is this hassle, I am in mid of?
Why I feel cold
With the fire of anger, I m build of?
Perhaps it's nothing but the disability
To enact what I feel.
Hence blinded by the winter fog
And paralyzed should I become from head to heel.
So what if I swallowed the heat and
Hindered it from coming up again?
Next, I hid beneath the sheet
Because nothing no more balanced the cold pain.
In the end I realize
How foolish I am!
To compare me with the being so sacred.
Mine with the lives of snow and fire;
The sheer example of
Two contradictory existence
'the nature and a liar'.

Premium MemberA Tree Is Like a Blank Book

A tree is like a blank book
that nature writes her seasons on
In Winter black branches woebegone
With snow and ice and brazen rook

A tree is like a blank book
Which spring soon paints in pink chiffon
As if at a signal — to act upon
Not one blossom will overlook

A tree is like a blank book
And summer the season of sweet bygone
And tongue in cheek, writes, green as a lawn
Cool tangle of leaves and meadowbrook.

A tree is like a blank book
Where autumn leaves warm tones adorn
In her golden shroud the year withdrawn
Until nature gives back all she took.

Premium MemberA Poem Lovely as the Snow

I think that I shall never know
A poem lovely as the snow

The snow that melts in the hot sun
And makes playing with it so fun

The snow that's white, soft and fluffy
And stirs the heart of a toughie

The snow that looks quite delightful
Watching it fall, I'm insightful

Sometimes it's slick and wet and cold
But life's hidden beneath its hold

A poem has that special glow
But e'en it can't compete with snow

White snow, furiously freely falling, carpeting the hued ground;
A freezing allegory of racism and xenophobia that’s still around:-

Flaky snow just keeps falling;
As if I had been lonely and sad.
Did nature feel as if I was bawling?
Flaky snow just kept falling;
Surely, for snow, I was not calling—
Now my body sits here, cold and mad.
Flaky snow just keeps falling
As if I had been lonely and sad.

Glacier! Icy, cold,
hard. Diamond-like, it chisels

Shaken snow globe disarray
Stark format unfamiliar
Relocated mountain ranges
Jacket assets of chameleon

Wobbled flesh given for return
Eyeballers display dollars
Fixated focus planted firm
Subject unacknowledged

Drifting body parts ignite
Lust of lurid possibility
From actuality retired
Maggot eaten depravity

Gyraters' slip into depiction
Resigned, pilot drives auto
Puckered faces maintain rhythm
Minds' contents, peeled potato

Stiletto gripping charicature
Formed from Adam's vital rib
Collared stilled near provocatuer
Audience outcome pathetic

Satirical image conjured as ideal
Patron clean faced gullible
Sensation powders scene unreal
Hand fulls of snowballs - impossible!

It's the end of our beautiful dream
The thrill is gone, for that reason...
I'm through loving you.

The nightingale that sings in my heart
for you has flown away, therefore...
 I'm through loving you.

There's no longer warmth in your smile;
no sparks in your eyes; I'm afraid...
I'm through loving you.

The magic in your touch has worn off; your...
embrace is now as cold as winter snow, so...
I'm through loving you.

You've worn out your welcome; you've been...
locked out of my heart for good. Sorry but...
I'm through loving you.

I'm through loving you.
I repeat, I'm through loving you!
But my heart can lie to itself.

Santas Big Mistake

Twas the night
Before Christmas and
As Santa tries to
Go down a chimney
The fireplace was lit
And his pants caught fire
So, he hurries and
Crawls back-up the chimney
Looking like a
Ball of fire as he
Jumps into the snow
Trying to put the fire out
After he puts it out
Santa gets up
And stands there
Looking like he’s been
In a horrible fight
With burnt clothes
And scorch hair
Shouting Merry Christmas to all
And to all a good night

Premium MemberNaked Trees and Winter Snow

what freaks of nature
	they may seem to be—
	tall trees—aerial
	bark skeletons
	of well-seasoned wood...
	well-seasoned wood
	piercing the skies...
	casting weird shadows
	across the terrain—
	their statuesque stillness...a
	poised assurance of the coming
spring resurrection: if only we too…
could stand in such blessed assurance.

Premium MemberIce Flute

In the snow and ice,
a flute is played in the blizzard
by someone who makes tunes like a wizard
to tame the weather, in order to create paradise

Snowflakes fall ever so slow,
the wind softly breezing by the flute in the ever-white land
forever striving in eternal glow
and happiness is always at hand

Snow
At the
End of
February
Is like
A beacon
Of light
In the night
Impending
Dawn
