Premium Member These Eyes
Despite your transcendental airs,
No windowed soul invites your gaze.
These eyes have steered a thousand stares,
Through labyrinths of smoke and haze....

Summer's Facade
Of windowed light, what's let in
Summer's, may you blind.
As to what eyes' truth, behind
Numbly, coldly stares.

Stay wary, through butterfly's
Flame-speedy deceit;
In the form of this conceit
Everyone, in joy, fares....

Wet Caresses
Summer rain like windswept silk or
Kitten belly fur
Instilling feeling into leaves
Persuading cows to milk
Perhaps the drip from cabin eaves
Is edging to the flowered bed
Neath windowed view of Fall
Glowing in late Summer sun
A sparkling veil of dazzled drops
Lingering as they spill
O lowly summer raindrops they
Not driven only falling
Gleeful feeling flowing to fill...

Her Dream
Her Dream
Her dream grew
Too large
Imagination spilling
Filling her room
Needing out
Creeping upon its windowed reflection
In pane

Shelved dolls listening
Hearing the dream’s gasp
Unable to split the seam of weighted eyelids
Lashed
Their response stuck in frozen smiles
Pearly teeth clenched
Anchored in place
No way to alert
Escape

The Clearing
Pulling myself from the brush
thorn ripping tictures in skin and cloth
a mumble from the darkening clouds
whisper traces of slipping rain
before me stood a battered domain
its windowed eyes
unwelcoming and barren
turning the path behind me swallowed
by decaying leaf fingertips
once again surveying the hovel before me
my eyes darting between shade and light
hoping for a trace of life...

Robust Chestnut Gloss Sheen
Golden water glittering through
delicate weeping willow leaves
Swans swimming on the lake
Grand house on top of the hill
neatly framed with many trees
Shingled roof peaked gables
Large arched windowed eyes
Carpeted flowers staircases
Marble floor, chequered hall
Dining room living room den
Settee Louis XVI parlor chair
Deep yellow blue pink letter
Clatter of six sets of hoofs...

Imagine
Imagine

Yellow socks tambourines pretty girls and fax machines
Sunshine waves Heinz baked beans and black tinted windowed limousines
Garbage anarchy wasps that sting and red currant jam potting magazines
Madness purity wedding rings and watching Mary Berry’s tips on the finest
cuisines
Ice cubes tweed ping pong pings and the gold dust of a magic monkey blowing
over your sleeping dreams...

Cityscape
welcome to the many windowed cityscape
the wanton color of badly mixed paint
with a parade of personal lives
like black stockings full of runs
strafed by formations of overhead birds
whose small eyes think only to judge
passing, teasing wisps of cloudy twirl
confining we dwellers to a sunless cave
thousands and dozens stacked worshipful
stacked tightly knit in churches
longingly longing to be someplace else...

Longing For a Home
Windowed eyes stare out
to the rainy road
as I walk in my London fog coat
down Anytown streets.
Passing table lamp gleam
brings a catch to my throat.
How is it with the lives
within these warm nests?

The comfort of the glow
shining on manicured lawns
beckons to my heart.
What plays are played
within that house ...
or that one there?
Is it really a Home or
only an empty shell
with my longing installed?...

And Blossom In Purple and Red
Windowed doubt shadows out peripheral. Fear balances envisioned in centripetal. Autumn’s amber hark back hearken. Forgotten kits cry down, mother marten. Good fellow robin indicates emending sprite. Spring expands secret eyes only sight. Droplets of hope dew days new dawn. Open arms stretch a point wide yawn. Hope turns a blind eye in despite way of head, And blossom into purple and to red. 6-01-16

Harbor Mist
Horizons cast on harbor mist
As silver fog on waters kissed
In morning light, it greets the eye
Just as moon glow waves good bye

Translucent beams in twinkling hue
Begin to warm the chilly dew
As sunlight peeks to say hello
    And hugs the cityscape below

The morning mist, now harbor blue
So gently clears to gift the view
Reflections blaze, a windowed world
    Bejewels another day unfurled

Saved By Death
Curtains of despair draw around
Light and joy seldom dawn
Down here where the sullen lay
Tired sighs for a dreading fate

Fall ye! King of tyranny
Bringer of pain, sired to me.
Dwell with me where misfortunes meet
Far from where my endeared could see.

"Eyes hollowed windowed to soul " Said he
"Blamed am I when beckoned to thee
Float and flit I will if you cut your ties
To endless gloom and a resigned life "...

Premium Member Reflections From My Windows
Reflections on my television, from my window late last night
Had the moon and stars on it, and it made it look all white
Reflections from some raindrops, from the window on my door
They were painting drips like chocolate chips, on my polished floor
Reflections all in colours, from my hanging crystal ball
They were scrambling like a kaleidoscope, on my windowed wall
Reflections of trees swaying, rapid when the wind blows
Made it look like dancing leaves, were tangoing on my windows...
