Mr Drain Pipe and Mr Water Tank

Mr Drain Pipe and Mr Water Tank

Oh I really do hope Mr Drain Pipe and
Mr Water Tank can
reach a
common decision about:
the best garden design (backyard at
this stage), the right shape and colour of
path bricks, the most suitable
hedges, the easiest grass to
maintain.

The Camel

"A camel is an animal which all of us should thank,
if we were desert travellers far from a water tank"

This was dictated by my 95 year old mother, from her childhood in the 1930's. I am trying to find the rest of the poem, but my searches have come up blank!
If anyone knows this poem, I would love to hear from you.

Silent Prayers

The hand comes out of the
rubble to throw
the musky odor
of a cross-legged
monk
under the ginkgo tree.

An apparition comes
outside the body of a fan-shaped snake;
ignites the wolf.
We were hungry,we were thirsty.
Untwining we went into the cave
for a snowgod.

Tossing the coins
in the water tank;
tying the thread onto a
ficus tree,
the weeping shepherd said-
I want nothing.

Haltering

A red clock and the dwarf
will not meet on the wall.
Time slips out in virginal shyness.

On the verge of collapse was
an ossified civil group
after emotive conception fails.

Unambiguously an azure
sky measures the human steps
in somnambulant thoughts.

You throw a bound kid
in a water tank, after postpartum blues
and walk away with a halter.

Who will grab the fractured
age, during the fire dance?
A mirror lies flat after announcing the award.

Premium Member the boasters wife

the boaster has been bragging about his game expertise
the object is to throw the ball against the red buzzer
If the buzzer goes off, bam….
the volunteer clown falls into the water tank.

He has three chances
He boasts and brags every time
Three misses

His wife is next
He gives her some expertise tips
She lets one fly

The buzzer sounds
Down goes the clown into the water
The boaster stomps off
There is enthusiastic cheering and clapping for his wife
