Black winged
Against the sky you fly
Outstanding glide
Outcast not justified

Deride
Some vilified
Your song no melody
One cawing truth be known

Alone
To wander through
Detached but true to you
Magnificent contrasting darkness...

Premium Member She's So Powerful -
She's so powerful –
She moves the air;
It doesn't move her.
Matter obeys her will.

She's so powerful:
In Grace and Artistry –
In lines of Symmetry –
Her eyes sparkle.

She is a real hero –
Perfection personified.
Physics is vilified
By her – small in stature....

Nothing New
As we strive,
The violence continues on,
Sending innocent people on the run,
People expect this violence to change,
But won't accept a new negotiation range,
This is nothing new,
Except for the very few,
Who will do whatever it takes,
To get there fair shake,
The problem is these few will never be satisfied,
And want to be vilified....

Uncommon Man

hard hat
lunch bucket
high steel walker
at home where eagles soar.

mole, in pits and holes
deep, dark cracking stone
labyrinth’s glitter.

salt stained, rocking seas

nine to five, three shift
two shift
blue denim Atlas
balances the World.

vilified, patronized
then dehumanized
into work units
commerce engine
used up, spat out
but they abide....

Not As Free
Not as Free as You think

We are free to have no constraint
Not so.
Our actions and words come at a price
And added responsibility.
Every word you utter, every act
Have echo that reverberates in
Some one’s mind
And can be damaging if not
The spoken is built on lies.to be silent
Is not an option when injustice?
Happens then it is a duty to talk.
You can be vilified, friends turn against
You but you have stated your opinion
And are truthful to yourself....
