I start in the morning
With a spring in my step
Like an excited puppy
Full of vigour and pep
But at the end of the day
I walk with a heavier step
And feel less like a puppy
And more like “old shep”

agendas that present themselves to us
pause at the periphery of our aura
peeping within and finding no one is here
and yet since all doings must yet be done
we enact our life role with vigour as ordained
so be it
The lake flows, ups and down,
Enduring hurdles, pain and strife;
Failure, success all come in path,
Yet survives and moves ahead;
'Hope' the magic word,
Spurs vigour to move in storm,
To meet the goal;

The Phoenix from fire an ash rises
to live renewed with youth and
vigour. To test anew its gift of flight;
to conquer skies in morning light
and then return when it is dusk
to walk the earth on men’s final dust.
