Premium Member THANKFUL FOR INDIGENOUS WISDOM
Today I’m thankful for Indigenous wisdom
wisdom that needs to be respected…

The earth is not a resource to use up…they believed
It is an heirloom to be treasured and protected...

Forgetfulness is more than a habit with me I work hard at it, trying not to remember [or use up my limited memory] on facts I can Google!

Premium Member Tinkering Hands
We would like to
eat steaks in Alaska
or fry battered mushrooms,
but the there is money
to be made
in the Southland.
The irises bloom here thickly,
and roses bleed,
while tinkering hands
use up the day....

Wishes For Kisses
I would use one wish to relive my first kiss
A quick peck in the playground with Mary Lou

Use up the second wish on a long french kiss
When the girl I fell in love with said "I do"

The third wish would be to give a gentle kiss
Cradling my newborn daughter as she cooed...

Santa's Money
I'm shopping for Santa.
He's not good with money.
He'll use up my credit
and laugh like it's funny.

He's broken my spirit
and says it's for good.
For the gift that keeps giving
he says that I should.

But it isn't my money
he comes for each year.
When it's smiles from my children
each Christmas holds dear....

This World
I am nothing
There is nothing
Nothing is no part, share, or trace
Delete; use up, reduce, consume, lesson
Thy soul.
Run, move quickly
With haste
Flee; escape
This world.
Great
But is hard
They don’t understand
Some do
Not all
But its okay
Im good
God will save me
Change my life
Soul
Is pure
This is my turn
To show
My life
I can change
I am something...

Question
Please don’t ignore me like this,
My heart is too tender,
When you do this to me,
My heart feels like it’s been in a blender.
	I have no clue,
What I’ve done wrong,
Waiting for your answer,
Is making this day long.
	What did I do,
What did I say,
That is making you act
Like this today?
	I use up my minutes,
On you alone,
You acting like this,
Makes me want to throw my phone....

No More Apple In Mama's Eye
They say a mothers love can never die
The truth be known,it's just another lie
Some can use up all a mothers tears
Wipe away all her loving years
A hurt so deep it does not heal
Her heart beats, yet it does not feel
and her broken heart made her walk away
she,ll turn her back, come what may
No more apple in your mama,s eye
Today your Mama says goodbye

A Waiting Game
"I'm not who You've waited for,
After all these years.
I know that you hoped for more,
But I'm facing fears.
You're a perfect kind of guy,
You deserve the world,
Not the drama of the life
That comes with this girl.
You deserve someone special,
That can treat you right.
Not waiting for me until,
You use up your light".
She'll never understand,
the twinkle in my eye,
Burned from want to hold her hand,
And I can't watch it die....

Premium Member Happy Occasions
A party is to celebrate
  one of life's happy occasions
A get-together reaches out
  to folks of diverse persuasion

Going out on the town
gets us up from our couches
Though going out to eat
may turn our stomachs to slouches

The main thing's we keep busy
as we move through life's stages
Birthdays, Weddings, Anniversaries
  all use up work's wages

Just make sure before you die to leave over a tip
So you can spend eternity comfortably, R.I.P....
