No one listens, although ear hears Frigid minds, so brittle We feel not bliss, that heart endears See how habits whittle We don’t learn, till we burn Stewing in pathways stern Till ego we upturn Wisdom glistens No one listens 24-December-2021 Quietus

Scribbled Thoughts
i stare at the walls
blank mind
and paper
laugh back

has the ink run dry
from pen, or thoughts
dried from mind?

i know the motion
upturn wrist
press firmly...
cut deep
bleed free

feel pain, relieve pain,
relive again
awaken my mind
so it bleeds
flows outward
from within

one thought
one trickle
one moment of darkness
spilling across sheets of white
either way, i bleed again!...

Fear
The fear is quite irksome
It foods you from within
It is lethal than death
It is inflexible to digest
Fear crushes all happiness
Fear digest all sorrow
Fear kills away all emotions
Sadness shy’s fear
And so does anger
Hates fear
Fear is one and all
It holds a black hole
Within itself
Nothing can dictate fear
Nor can slaughter it
As the timepiece’s needle passes
It will upturn more and more....

My soles trod the Earth
while souls reach for Sky.
I wonder Why
we race toward death from birth

never to upturn, headstand,
jostle the view, eyes low and

walk the Sky.
For feet, too have soles.
walk the Sky
turn It All on its head,
coax the World to switch her poles
and if she won't, well try instead

walk the Sky.
Give up your precious 'self control'
walk the Sky.
Let go of 'you' and now be Whole....

Unexpected Shields
Times when u were young ,
A thought strikes me
Trees shade in scorching sun
Mid aged acceptance

Strong roots for little grass
Heads first prior
Maker's unconditional affection
Follow the steps

Untroubled upturn for keeping
Untroubled upturn for nourishing
Wasn't a function for prospect,
But desire for bliss

We dont long for inconsistent affection
Nor tenderness of our veins
But unexpected shields of planted trees...

Forgetting
What was about this face ?
Between mirage and actuality ?
A fireball was coming towards you.
You upturn the underside,
wanted to taste the blood
and get argasm.
The statues were posing nude.

Mothers were clad in leaves.
Fruits were the greed of man.
I refuse to lie in state. The
sand grains will find the innocence
of silver breasts when sky will
spat a murder. Were you ready
now to become corrupt ?

At last the beginners are now
becoming the boots.

Canalopes
we just ate
i didn't like it
most of it
was in the
carry out box.

well, are we
hungry again
i said after about
15 miniutes of
riding?

he did the side
squint and his
lips snuck the
slightest upturn

whatta ya mean
we just ate in
the most expensive
place in town.

i can't help it
i said with a little
push in my voice
plus sort of a whine

o.k., he wheeled into
a grocery store, got
out and brought
me
a
canalope.

now that is a real man!
