Premium Member Cover Up Your Face
Are you ever serious, people have wondered Sometimes, if I haven't had a really good slumber Not grumpy but be safe Better cover up your face Coz I might flail about if I can't find my uppers

Dear Mo, my Ottawa sweetie, told me of this phrase She and Gramma used when they spilled coffee in the morning haze Instead of bosoms, they'd emit This phrase “Booby Bibs” Natural "quicker picker uppers" for sopping coffee up in a daze

Pulling Myself Up
There's a world out there
Of friends and strangers
Fixer uppers-rearrangers
Chasing windmills-making sounds
Circulating hope around
Shining on a cloudy day
Sometimes they just get in my way
I'm caught up in my retrograde
Conscious of the choices made
Skipping stones on a drybed creek
Feeling sorry,feeling weak
Doubting that it's just a phase
But counting on some better days...

Daydreaming
Desire
Coursing through my veins
Infecting my brain
Drives me insane

I'm feindin' for those uppers
I'm feindin' to get down
I need to feel that ecstasy
That overwhelming sound

I'm cravin' me some instant death
I'm asking to raise hell
I hear my familiar shallow breath
That comfy, cushioned cell

I need to feel my insides out
I need to taste the pills
I feel the love and that's no doubt
That wretched, lovely taste that kills...

Premium Member Poindexter Is a Catch
Poindexter was a squirrel with the weakest teeth.
He had broken most of the uppers and many down beneath.
How will you chop nuts and woo your bride some said?
So, he bought a huge axe; its color was a brilliant red.

He’s the most resourceful squirrel in all the woods.
The girls were smitten, many waved over their hoods.
Poindexter was not interested in any of them for you see.
He was totally in love with a turtle named Tweedle-dee-dee....

Suicide
R.I.P.
they say he died so young
frankly i can't believe he lasted
as long as he did
i had no fear of death
i did alot of good trip
had some peeks thru the darkness
saw the other side
they said eat right work out
get plenty of rest
i say drink until you black out
get a lung full of that fire smoke
uppers and downers
freak out your brain
freak out squares for a bonus
do your own thing
smash your watch
your hip on time
remember i love you
peace go with you...

Premium Member Polar Bear Tooth Cleaning Day
Stay back, save yourselves, be quiet and stand out of the way
It is a nefariously thrilling polar-bear-tooth-cleaning-day.
I only do this for one polar bear, his name is grumpy Jay.
He does not trust anyone else; only reason that I stay.

Cleaning his uppers now, I have to stand on a ladder gray.
If it falls down, I might get hurt, as the floor is a long way.
Please do not giggle or excite him. Murderous can be Jay.
If you make him angry, I doubt that I could save you today....

Hook, Line And Sinker
Broad in the beam not much of a looker this crusty rust-bucket of nuts screws and bolts is a crabby old hooker as luck would have it dolled up trolling for supper at any port in a storm she still gives good service tho' down on her uppers now showing her years deep in the scuppers yet still on the game fishing by night for a living not to sully or bruise her good name tho' one might unduly call her a 'Cruiser' this goodly vessel is truly a trawler
