I Am Wandering: All of a Sudden

Two Tanka: 4 & 5

4) I am wandering
since when I became a man
    easily move to
    tears by a touching story
    unworldly one’s noble deeds

5) all of a sudden
    I like sending a letter
    to the friend afar
    troubled mind cannot shake off
    written on a drifting cloud

Drifting

There is a constant fear of being forgotten.
Fear so strong that if I close my eyes just
for a moment, I might lose myself entirely
to the unworldly chaos, I try to escape.
I long too much and crave the vivacity
of human touch.

and they wonder as to why I don't
sleep at night.

Multiplicity An Open Form

MULTIPLICITY
a
combined
innocence
 something
beautiful
 oft traumatic
yet
 figurative
to
represent
a
freewheeling
spirit
charmingly
gentle
yet
with
an unworldly
quality
collides
to portend

in
 the blatant
 isolation
a thesis
 drifting
a  happening
reaping
benefits
 a
 setting
continued
 throughout
then
evaporated

Lullabies In the Dark

in the glitter of the night when the moon
has cast its net over one and all ~
swaying to symphonies rehearsed
stars will dance their million virtues

and the midnight breezes will serpentine
towards distant lullabies of mermaids
seek they will hoping to find the enchantress
who forever conspires in the dark with unworldly deities

Trees

I see towering trees
As they move and unwind
In the sky high, wheeze
Waving so subtly, in the shine

Penetrating sky flowers
They stand alone
And are like ivory towers
And medieval thrones

Words in the breeze
Rambling with the leaves
Humming with tranquility
Saying it softly

Nothing is more unworldly
And more praiseworthy
Than a beautiful, strong tree
Sighing, ever so, transcendentally

Into the Night

I walk alone into the night; into its shadowy silence where myriad diamonds light the sky with twinkling luminance; where its nocturnal clutch conjures imaginary images: wierd, phantasmagoric specters with unworldly, frightful faces. Luna, mother of night shadows beams down through naked boxelders their swaying branches cast below cimmerian moving creatures: malevolent fabrications of my grotesque imagination.

Maiden's Stand

With laden heart her feet now tread
down winding paths filled with dread
avoiding the bruises pebbles shed
upon unworldly maidens head

Sticks hurled may not break bones
nor words spoken from sharpness honed
from magazines her appearance un-cloned
her individuality, resigned, walks alone

Piers, self-proclaimed, never understand
avoiding the touch of unsullied hands
the tune she hears from her own band
with dignity and honor she stands

Yearn of Relief

Blurred lines...
unworldly thoughts.

You not aside me...
why would you hide?

Unpleasant feeling erupt...
pain, suffering & loss...

Loss of you...
               your laugh, giggle, s e..
                                            m l
                                               i

Staggering-you return
...to hear my yearn...

A yearn of...
              pain...

A yearn of...
              relief...

Cruel To Be Kind.

Is it better to burn my tongue to find for myself?
the taste!the fun! the poorish!or wealth?
I go raw as i wander in dark hidden glens.
with my maw and paw and girny wains!
We had fled from the invaders with fire! them that brought the first light we expired!
Burning our beds, killing warriors and worshipping some unworldly sire!
now we are still hidden in our own wee places of secret meetings!
in every house in alba!some might think it,s the garden of eden!

My Thoughts About Cobra Woman

Cobra woman had a unworldly glow
There was something purple about it
She shown in the dark like a psychedelic popsicle
We gave her and her pet a wide berth
choosing to sit anywhere but their corner of the jungle

Cobra woman had a reputation for transmogrifying her enemies
I did not want to be her friend, but ….
I did not want her to put me into the enemy category
Could I make friends with the cobra?
He brought his head up and stared at me.

I don’t think so.

A Fruitful Fruit

The smell of cantaloupe is enticing
Yearning to feel it’s smoothly texture
It beckons me to it with an unworldly call
The slippery flesh is on my earthly skin
As I hold the fruit it embraces me,
How sweet! How kind it is!
I sympathize and crave it!
A plant that is living and purring
Communicates to us with undecipherable
Decibels that can be heard from beyond our senses
But, I’m hungry; so hungry!
Tearing apart it’s flesh
It’s now a part of me; broken down to a
Molecular level.
