Premium Member An Unwilling Participant

I am an unwilling participant.
But it is inescapable.
An earthly evil.
Death would be preferable,
but no, it is taxes….

You'Ve Forgotten.

Tears are always and forever,
Love is unwilling,
Hearts are broken constantly,
& In the end, nothing ends up going right.

Behind everyone lies a story
To those unwilling to unveil,
To the heart of the free
Bones buried in the closet labeled, past

A working clock makes a house look lived-in, occupancy-wise;
A lit bulb makes occupants look unwilling to compromise.

A PUMPKIN PATCH

She went to a pumpkin patch
To carve her pumpkin from scratch
But it came alive
Because it had thrived
From eating his unwilling catch

''she Who Dares''

Innocent Youth.
Potential Danger.
Worlds'collide in the path of an unwilling crane.
Yet,she excepts her fate.

Albatross, Unx-Desiring

You are still my muse
Unwilling
Undeserving

You say
I am not your muse

Without a muse
All work is lost

Punish me
Hate me
Loathe me

Day by day, our lives are worn away
That is nature, needs no undue fuss
But let it be by things we choose to do
And not by things unwilling done to us

Like a Small, Quiet Death On a Page

One too many poems: Like a barking dog at

The Garden gate: Oblivious to the beauty of the Garden, and

Unwilling to let anybody in it to enjoy it.

Unwilling

Willingly ignorant
Willfully ignorant
Unwillfully inignorant
Unwillfully informed
Not willingly informed
Not willingly inignorant

I grew up too fast

Unfair

Babies are taken from mothers,
unwilling,
Yet, they have no choice
in the matter.
They will never get the
chance to live, to love,
to grow.
How unfair.

Are you unwilling or are you lame?
I don't get hung up on a name.
I ask only "do or don't".
Screw the line 'tween "can't and won't".
The result comes out the same.

healing proffered
to unwilling receptors
pauses in the bardo

love employs no force
and so it waits
for eternity if needed

time yields to love

Premium Member Thy Will To Obey

God, my Lord,
Unwilling I am not, Thy holy will to obey

But

It’s Nature’s force within me that I can’t
Overcome!

Rick is willilng to sacrifice his happiness
As Ilsa was willing to sacrifice her husband's love
Both unwilling pawns created by a war
neither of them started or will finish

Like unwilling alchemy,
A forceful transmutation,
Tragedy to sanity -
Through sudden abnegation.

With fluid emotions -
The mixing of potions -

Alchemical abjuration.

This sheet of blinding paper
that's pasted to my face,
this mask that bars my ability to reason,
it scabs my eyelids and
drowns my name,
a constant reminder
of my unwilling demise.

Premium Member THANKFUL FOR NATURE THE TEACHER

How blessed are we to have nature as our teacher
although her biggest obstacle
which leads to her biggest concern
is how even the greatest teacher cannot teach
those who are unwilling to learn.

Limerick 2

A beautiful lady from Kildare
glued a vibrator to her rocking chair
The ladies from Inniskeen
Thought she was mean
For being unwilling to share.

A Tweet from afar

A tweet from afar
Strikes a chord
Echoing now
Stirring the pot
With the wails
Fanning the flames
A vacuum is come
A dent is done
Making yesterday’s pain
An unwilling tale

Procrastination

I used to be vibrant
Cheerful
Passionate
About life
Love
And poetry
Now I feel stagnant
Uninspired
Immobile
Unwilling to write
Lifeless
Caged
Procrastinating.
I miss the old me.
I miss how I used to be.
