Premium Member Unseen Regrets
Many sights I will never see,
Many utterances I will never hear,
Many flavors will remain untasted,
Many lovers will never again be held dear....

Premium Member The Sibyl - Artemis
Some wildness runs in Artemis
As silver streaks in a jet of coal-black hair

This beauty wrought to tempt a man
Is by her lesbian air a beauty wasted

Her eyes to thine reflect a dream
Where senses numb and leave the lips untasted...

Premium Member Persimmon
love long ago departed;
like persimmon buds; now, just
spring flowers ever parted
in afterglow of young lust.

Where pink flowers did carouse
soft, ripe red fruit heavy hangs
on cold winters empty boughs;

Near Me
Be still.
I can hear you
in
eyelashes resting
    on untasted cheek.
within
a tiny hand clutching
    calloused finger.
inside
the curling petal
      of a spent anniversary rose.
beyond
sifting sand measuring
      remaining time.
I cannot see you,
      but I hear you everywhere....

Premium Member Ice Hourglass
Duluth Warmbilt factory blanket
placed over his shoulders
after dinner cookie in lap
untasted
facing out the long
double-paned window
grinning hard
scaring the new hire
   A skull she thinks
waiting for it to melt
just enough
so the two-ton truck
  The crazy kids drove out
  onto the frozen lake
  stuck out there
  all winter now
gets swallowed up....

April
April took the best of everything
anesthetic corpses, love killed love

Bruised all over before it fell from the tree
buried again, body untasted but the seeds are everlasting

The only way to unlock the cage, to be covered in dirt
to sleep
to escape

Fingerless gloves hiding protruding
tired veins
In the uncomfortable heat
brother, you got me wrong

yet I paid that debt somehow...

Premium Member Blessed And Highly Favored
Blessed And Highly Favored Miracle Man 4/26/2024 I know that I’m blessed, and highly favored. Because my love for Jesus, has never wavered. When near death, I returned from the brink. God gave me thoughts, about eternity to bethink. He took from my thoughts, those years I had wasted. Giving me a new vision, of remaining years untasted. I’ve gone through much, yet remain feeling blessed. I wouldn’t have my testimony, without God giving the test.
