Near Me

Be still.
I can hear you
in
eyelashes resting
    on untasted cheek.
within
a tiny hand clutching
    calloused finger.
inside
the curling petal
      of a spent anniversary rose.
beyond
sifting sand measuring
      remaining time.
I cannot see you,
      but I hear you everywhere.
