Snip Snip

UNSUPPORTED CODE Take the threads of my being.
weave them
wind them around and
entwine love in those knots
then snip snip
seize them apart
before the poison seeps in
before the time takes away
what is sweet and what is mine UNSUPPORTED CODE

Night Moves

UNSUPPORTED CODE NIGHT MOVES wrapped in a shroud pread-eagled man lies… dreamless in the unmade grave of his bed beams glare on his mooning face as his hands clench on the nights long throat ©Kim van Breda—August 2015

The colour of a car affects the price dramatically I have a hunch An expensive car in yellow reduces the sale price a whole great big bunch Probably pink even more Or violet most abhorred Strange but true when it comes down to the crunch UNSUPPORTED CODE

Triple a Challenge

Your asseveration is unsupported –
With pretentious ideas
I once thought you were altruistic
But now the blind fold unveiled
I see now vividly axiomatic –
You carry away your sorrows and drown them in your doubt
Such a shame my darling-
You could of rose above it

Shopping For Shoes

I sat back and watched
myriad crowds
stroll-by in riotous clash of
ages and fashions
I wondered....
where do I fit amongst all these ?
decided I did not...
and went shopping for shoes.

Duet For One

I thought I saw you
And I’ll never see you here
My soul smiled and
     In this lonely desert
My thoughts danced
     Isolated from your love

And then my spirit cried
And another little piece of me died.

Some Things Never Change
Written: by Tom Wright
22-30-2015

My thinking oft hustles me,
To places of shadow and silence;
Where yet remains, an age-old question,
Whose answer I will never ascertain;
The resolution now lies inhumed
The query, someday soon, will be.

Relics of Grace

UNSUPPORTED CODE RELICS OF GRACE to have been on this planet prolonged time and still discern naught, distinguish… all the pain, the ebb of dirt, and the coffers stronghold pull; observe no grace relics of buoyant youth; where perchance all that now is fungal was filled with hopeful hues of honey © Kim van Breda—25 June 2014

To Touch and See

My fingertips glide over
the silk-like polyester
of a strappy night-dress,
generating static electricity
akin to stroking my dog's fur;
the redness of it
shout's it's colour to my brain,
the fit and feel
make it oh-so real(y)
silky and smooth
to the touch,
do you see ?

Premium Member Reception

Arrival will not become us all
A place not found from one's call.

Destiny is a journey of its own making
Comfort, solace and grace not for the taking.

From an unknown channel flourishes not conception
But rather the unsupported unyielding reception.

It is from these untainted depths
That true identity can rest.
