New jacket, new bike.
Old man rode
Wobbling unsteadily
Straight into a pond,
Frustrating the ducks.
Along the paths of life
i walk unsteadily
with my shadow friend...
though hesitant...
always sympathetic
The Washington elite and ensemble
seem to move unsteadily or wamble.
But this is what to expect
when the citizens elect
a POTUS who's a total cockwomble.
Toddler, untied with light tap
Sent off a walker, free.
Tricyclist, two-wheeled and pushed!
No less unsteadily!
Mother and child; partners in fear.
Helpless, up to its end
That path, life's through falls, general.
Watcher's, in watch for blend.
The words came slashing
Shortening the towering statue
With blows after blows
visible dents were made
To these lifetime stones
Strengthened with sweat and stress
Now crumbling from the swirling saliva
Raging from each forming words
Words from decades past
unsteadily revealing the weakened stones

Form:
Elevating him to king
was what we all desired,
so, one foggy June -
nonseasonal, we did.
The crown, unsteadily,
found its way to Minto's head,
and we all cheered
"Long live, long live!"
The fog made it hard to see
what was going on,
and Minto began swearing -
what a preposterous carry on!

Seeking enhancement
We pause
The cause
Of ego discontentment
Pulsating in exhilaration
Blissful but yet
Lest we forget
We are bound in limitation
To rhythm divine we sway
Continuously
But unsteadily
Sometimes ego has its way
Viewing attention oscillation
In innocence
Nonchalance
Throb of bliss our orientation

This was pain like none I'd had before
from ground up felt like I had been impaled
I leaned unsteadily against the door
fists tightly clenched, through gritted teeth inhaled.
The need to cry out was hard to suppress
in silence, cursed all things from earth to sky
until at last the agony grew less
and fiery tempered thoughts had passed me by.
It will happen again, yes, this I know,
on bedroom radiator stub my toe.
Face with enigma of reality
My heart beat fading in the 11th hour
Eroding love and hate as it lost meaning
An elixir to turn the last beat to gold
Unsteadily I elevate to extinction
Exiting memories of the celestial body
How long can I hold on to them
I'm loosing everything
Enough of this emotional emptiness
Oh I need a drop of methylenedioxymethamphetaine
If this is my last moment
I want to live it on Uranus
