Faith Taught By a Rabbit

The Rabbit so lily white,
an' eyes light an' bright
as emerald that glows
wins all Eternal shows!

Creature pure an' clean,
feeding on mere green
is a marvel of Creation-
an' unrivalled perfection.

Though daily I fed thee
Faith you've taught me!

Sunflower

Smiling at the bright sun,
Under the wild blue yonder,
Nodding their heads zestfully,
Fluttering with the zephyr.
Lovely they are to behold,
Oft in my dream they flash.
With colours so vibrant,
Exuberant and true wonder!
Radiant beauty unrivalled.

The wind cometh
bellowing its unrivalled thoughts
while doing a gusty dance
The wind cometh
wearing a formidable aura
scattering its’ amorous beads
while rustling soothing secrets
The wind blowth
firing sizzling arrows
giving tempestuous orders
raising skirts and harrowing minds
The wind cometh
hailing with breezy whispers

L- Luxuriousness unrivalled by human composition or creation
I- Incandescently perfumed with the sanctimonious scent of Spring

By power unrivalled, shot through space
Glistening in attraction, from jupiter to
Venus they race..Twirled in cosmic gusts

Where the finish beckons, seared' past sunbursts flaring
Severe.' Transmution of energy, in the rifling run, tighter in oscillation, two again become one .'

Premium Member Oh, Rose Flower

Oh, lovely Rose flower, Blooming in scarlet color, You are beauty born. A child of dawn. With nudge of breeze, Sweet aroma you release. It enters our nose A whispered promise. You are so divine In any garden, shine Among flowers you reign, As an unrivalled queen. When velvety petals unfold What beauty you enfold. With bewitching smile sweet, Everyone, you warmly greet.

ALL OR NOTHING

Will Silence

strum the wind

like that of guitar strings…

Wherefore art thy

melody?

Ah, perhaps in

tinges of

solitude and frail

wings that soar

the skies.

Will those book pages

flip into what is real…

facets of memoirs–

warm-filled,

unchased by moonbeams,

unrivalled by time.

The heart ascending the stairway

of the mind–too sublime

to behold

all or nothing.

Mothers

They birth the tender future
They heed their call to nurture
With love deeper than culture

They pampered our tender egos
They made us feel as little heroes
And that confidence to today echoes

Their patience is on earth unequalled
Their love is on earth unrivalled
And their essence in life unparalleled

Their eyes are gracious
Their thoughts and hearts are precious
The least our response can be is courteous.

HAPPY MOTHERS' DAY

My Everything

You're my mirage
My sweet confusion
My ever-receding horizon
My pleasant delusion
You're my make-believe
My fake spring of strength
My unabashed weakness
that sips my will at length
You're my unrivalled fiend
My never-ending quicksand
My self-proclaimed friend
My imaginary homeland
You're my bitter desire
My incurable infection
My humane tormentor
My everlasting addiction
You're my everything
My broken all
Coffee, my coffee
for which I evermore fall

Beauty

Her beauty is unrivalled by another
A vision of finished perfection
She stands out in a crowd
Heads and shoulders above all others
The softness of her flawless skin
Brings strong men to their knees
They are weakened by her sensuality
Dumbfounded and rendered speechless
She draws them into her web
Long lashes tease and taunt them
Look how easy they fall under her spell
Like a sheep led to the slaughter
Still blindly they follow her
Trapped by her alluring beauty

Leah Sharibu the Unsung Heroine

Intrepid damsel,
a heroine unsung.
A willing martyr
with courage
unrivalled.
Unransomed captive
with a ransom
infinite.
She gladly faces
death with eternity
in view.
Like her lover before her,
she chooses to be
a sacrificial lamb
to the slaughter.
Leah Sharibu,
the heroine unsung.
She that chooses to mortify
her passions
for timeless paradise.
Hardly daunted by
Kalashnikovs and
thunderous explosives,
she inherits a world
deemed abstract by
unfaithful adherents.
