Poet Frankness

When you are outspoken
Uninhibited, unreserved
Saying what you think
Being honest and blunt about it
Quite frankly
This is your greatest poetic tri-bute

And Coveted Sings

Love is the freest
 most precious of things

To give without cost
and coveted sings

Love to be spoken
and heard unreserved

To harness the wind
—and fly like a bird

Unreserved Love

In the world of love
No one is sorry for anyone
Only who doesn't know how to value
When I give this love to you
There's no reservation
I have no request at all
Wish you could treat the same
Wish you could always be true.

A Poet's Thoughts

To paint a picture, to find what's sought To touch a stranger in prolific thought Freedoms flight.. unreserved, to reach new hieghts with simple words To spark a fire, to reach beyond, to sing together a whispered song

People and Mannequins

People/Mannequins

I speak to them
I sit next to them
What appears to be still limbs

No smiles, only in place do they stand
Yet they seem to no longer
Appeal to the unreserved face of this man

I no longer bother to greet them
Should I
It’s become a non movable film

“a guy sitting in a room full of mannequins”
"writing for pictures"

Love Ii

Love does not hope for it is full of certainty
Love does not want for joy for it is full of exultancy
Love changes not for it is content in its caress
Love is not lost for it has found eternal success
Love shows no courage for it has unlimited prowess
Love has no conditions for it is unreserved bliss
Love begets love for it is saturated ardour
Love braves the globe for it is sated valour

THE BEAUTY OF KENYA

There is this universal respect
For Kenya, before it becomes a colony
A land where rich and poor alike
Knew no divide, only unity.

You see
This is the beauty of Kenya:
Diverse in their ways of life
Yet bound by unreserved love and kindness.

Like threads woven into a vibrant fabric
Each Kenyan heart is connected to another
A powerful force driving them forward
Creating a tapestry of unity and strength.

Work in progress

Glimpses of truth revealed from time to time,
whilst useful, does not signal soul’s ascent,
having neither etched in heart God’s love chime,
nor granted bliss our unreserved consent,
onslaught of lust, unable to prevent.
Flickering awareness, a half measure,
for there are attachments we still treasure
and so at best it’s still work in progress,
as we become nonchalant to pleasure,
God’s light making ingress as we undress.

When Healing Begins

You're too open, Girl.
You will need to build a wall.
Feelings are to hide.
What advice is this?
Please keep it to yourself, Man.
Does not work for me.
Open up Feelings.
Crying's cathartic.
Get enraged and scream.
Jump up and down, Girl.
Show true unreserved feelings.
There's nothing better.
Healing can begin
When your truths are revealed.
Empower yourself.
Listen to your heart.
She is waiting patiently.
And she wants to heal.

Dunkirk

Dunkirk – How it Hurt

They once tried to survive upon the sand
That they called No-Man’s land

Bombs and bullets fell as they stared
They couldn’t breath as there was no air

But then out at sea what a commotion
Stirring up such emotion

It’s time for you to go home young man
For you no more sleeping on the sand

That was a voice that they heard
If they made it through the curve

May God bless all who served
Because you all deserve

Our unreserved

Thanks
