Premium Member But It Rhymes
A subject missing from Mother Goose
Nor found in the works of Dr. Suess
   You wouldn't expect it
   They'd surely reject it
The tale of the head 'Unloosed by a Noose'...

Premium Member The Washing of the Stone
a bed of stones unloosed to spill from its path
through fresh waters flow to the distant sea
laving pebbles from its silty rough wrath
from rivers fresh to brackish brine's debris

beneath her shirt

but then he gave
her new white gloves
and pantomimed
undying love

now she’s his doll
he needs no strings
unloosed his tongue
and now he sings...

Premium Member Careful What You Ask For
~ So much exquisite history today,

That piques our curiosity to seek ...

          The information midst our DNA,

Unloosed with but a swab inside our cheek ...

But some are secrets, best left ... to mystique. ~

He has unloosed the burden of false royalty
Cast off at low-tide to be swept out to sea
His bended back straightens to a minute degree
He walks a bit taller, a better man to be
With nothing to lose now, with no guarantee
A battle-scarred prince bows to one shaky knee
At last feeling worthy to request it of thee
To slip on your slipper, it fits, you will see...
