Who Is the Child?

I giggled like a child
I looked in awe
My daughter by my side
Somehow it would not
Of seemed unfitting
For her to give
Me
The guided tour

Hindsight is 2025

Deck the halls with gold
and whitewash society
erase the bonds of culture
and that unfitting history
focus on how pretty
your teenage bride will be.

Bad Poet

I have nothing to lose, by submitting.
My poems aren't perfect, I'm admitting.
A crime of bad rhymes, I'm committing.
A disease of word misuse, I'm transmitting.
I try to be hard-hitting, but my diction is unfitting.
There are times I feel like quitting,
Then a gem is born, after some diligent editing.

Serial Pt2

Confusion there the translation fleeting,
Mind racing thoughts with no meaning,
Conclusion nearing the finale in sight,

Knowing my actions will raise fright,
Victims envisioned there is no light,
Lord knows each action is unfitting,

Emotions burst yet always unfeeling,
Internally my mind completely reeling,
Punishment coming forcing the fight,

Soon here they will be maybe at night,
Quenching your search brings delight,
Confrontation here the wait agonizing,

Mind's Eye

My private universe
resides far beyond the cosmos
and into galaxies yet unfound.
Man’s mortal eye
cannot appreciate
the vastness of beyond.

My private universe
encompasses all, yet nothing.
It is much too profound to contain.
No human sought
to walk moist, spongy shores,
none to drink its knowledge.

My private universe
oozes with untold adventure
and pictures of never-before-seen
frames from my mind.
Caricature creatures
silently syphon words,

Unfitting to exist.
