Reap Bad Deeds
As ye sow,
you get the maybe corn,
and reap,
the stinking uncooked prawn,
cos ye n me are slack ....
ones deed comes up to speed ,
like car on the racing track,
it comes around yes indeed,
next time it gives you a smack,
karma on the racetrack steed,
a hurting memory Jack,
why the silly bludger always bleeds,
elementary, it talks back....

Chicken Conundrums
It's late
And I am taking my prose
From the either
A non believer
Who sees belief
Not as the word of God
But rather as a question
To which answers
Provide more questions
Which came first
The chicken or the egg
I don't know
Egg's cook quicker
And chicken is deadly uncooked
But it is finger licking good
And egg's are full of protein
Which came first
Breakfast...

Poetry Knows
Poetry Knows
Where poet goes
when poet needs
A line of prose
Which word comes best
on top of rest
before its born
in womb of next
Where uncooked prose
in little groves
sits in wait
by little stoves
Poetry screams
in pains of birth
For now as words
it now has worth
it likes
it would
it rather be
before its time
not known to me
Where life songs sing in melody
and pollinate the what will be...

Undefined
Posture
The ability to withstand pressure
Content
To apply pressure
Yet be able to see through the distortion
Life
Look around you
Days
To deflower yet blossom within the passing hour
Hour
Our countdown to deflower
Minutes
Within these we are defined to blossom or die
Survival
Ramen noodles uncooked
Effort
Agile enough to record my ending in a book
Love
The dream you and I share
Hope
A simple measure of tested time...

The Thanksgiving Meal
The turkey in the oven
In the early afternoon
Getting hungry now
Mashed potatoes, carrots
Put out the cranberry sauce
On the dinning room table
Time to check the turkey
Disappointed, uncooked
Wait a few hours
It is still uncooked
So we had the cooked stuff
With the stuffing mix
When the turkey was ready
Our stomachs were full
Homemade cherry cake
Was the finishing touch
Our meal was not so bad
Turkey served the next day...

Baker's Man Help Me If You Can
The oven's
Too hot
So I keep
My distance
Like you
Do
I tried
Cooking
Once with
Heart's and
Emotions
But they
Turned out
All wrong
Uncooked
And bitter
In our mouths
We tried
To make
It rise
But it fell
Flat
Imperfect suffle
We couldn't
Get to set
The kitchen's
Too empty
I'd go over
To ask for
Some sugar
And maybe
You'd come to
Stay and help
But you're gone
So I guess I've
Got to make this
Work on my own...
