A Poem About Nothing Meant Everything To Him
I'll choke on another water lily
I swear I will
no more ultimatums
please
and with pleasures as deep as your eyes
grey
I've never felt such pain
deeper than blues, greens,
and grey

A Bouquet
A Bouquet

Astute; beautiful Chrysanthemums
Decadent earthly Foxglove
Gentle hands; immaculate
Judging Kaffir Lilies
Miniature noises orchestrated
Pretty; quiet Rudbeckia
Shocking trellises; ultimatums

Paradox Lost
The paradox Of my lost socks Does pierce my heart And vex my soul. For it does expose All my toes, Which would be A great calamity. her eyes were wild.
I wondered what on earth
have I done.
we had been dating five years
I have never seen her like this.
she shouted at me.
she never shouts.
you can marry me now
my clock is ticking
I want a family and home.
if you don't do it
you can go your way
and I can go my way.
I was roused
passions flying high
my face red
I said alright
if that's what you want.
you can go your way
and I will go your way too...
